John & Kim - December, 2009 Wet, Wild, and Wicked ®

GETTING THERE:

Trip to the airport uneventful, but could have done without the 1am wake-up call! (even my dog was like WTF??? Hit SNOOZE!)   It was FREEZING in Boston, but we would soon be warm……

Last year, Customs in MoBay was atrocious, but we were arriving on a Monday, and it was a breeze in and out.  Landed at the check-in counter, and waited longer than I wanted to board the bus, but in all truth, it was probably only about 15 minutes.  I was pretty anxious to begin our vacation and to meet up with friends from last year.

CHECKING IN:

The bus ride seemed to take forever- and actually, took almost 2 hours (???).  Stopped for the obligatory drink, but nobody left the bus, so we left shortly afterward.  I caught a short power nap in the bus, and soon enough, we were at HEDO!  Friends greeted us at the lobby, some dressed a bit less than others, LOL, but I think that may have helped us get our room a bit more quickly!  (Thanks, B!)

THE WEEK/MONDAY:

Didn’t even unpack when we hit the room, made a beeline for the pool once we grabbed our wraps, and soon there were NBH’s  and all sorts of greetings… ahh….. this is the life!  It took awhile to make our rounds before I actually got a drink, but it was all worth it—catching up, laughing with folks as though we had never left.

First night was Mini-skirt night for the WWW’ers, and what a blast it was!  So happy that so many participated, it was fun to have the guys talking to each other… “what time u getting there, man?  I don’t want to be the ONLY dude in a SKIRT!!!”  Well, a bunch of them made their debuts together,  (safety in numbers, LOL!!), and many many many photos were taken!  (never to be shared, of course!)

TUESDAY:

Tuesday, typical day of breakfast/ pool/lunch/ hedo nap ;)

BUT….. I made a vow this year to make it to the OCEAN at least once.  Last year, I never dragged my butt out of the pool!  SO….  Hubby and I picked a float… and… we FLOATED!  On the ocean!  NEKKID!  What a feeling!  We did this a couple of times that week, but mainly stayed in the pool.

Theme for Tuesday night was ..bare as you dare (WWW) and PJ party later that night.  I bought a new dress that I would NEVER wear anywhere else but Hedo, (laces up the FRONT??!!!).  I also MADE a dress for the PJ party, but, alas, ate something that didn’t agree with me and was in bed directly after dinner.  L

WEDNESDAY:

Wednesday- breakfast/pool/ etc… BUT.. it was also the day of the Magical Mystery Tour.  We boarded something like 4 or 5 small busses, and headed to Margaritaville, which was quite lovely.  They have the most wonderful beach, and thanks to STFU for clearing the kids off of the water trampoline in a big hurry, LOL!

Next stop, Times Square for some shopping, and then off to Rick’s  Café for the sunset.  Hubby decided to jump off of the cliffs- something I have been longing to do, but was too chicken.  So.. after he jumped the first time, I decided to give it a go—(off of the 25’ jump-still a LOOOONG way up!)

So…. We decided to jump together.. Took me a few minutes to get my courage up, and…. Then…. We stepped off the edge! It was one of the most frightening things I have EVER done!  It seemed to take FOREVER for the water to come, but right before it did, I had this fear that I was going to collide with hubby, so I leaned.. ever so slightly…. And then, it happened…. SMACK…. Just a little bit of angle, and the water hit me with such a force.  I thought, “that’s going to leave a mark.”  And it did….  On my left side-down my leg as far as my arm and hand reaches. AND on my butt!  L  The rest of the week, workers at the resort would comment, “Oh, you’ve been to Rick’s” and shake their heads.  Am I glad I did it?  YES  Would I do it again???  NOT A CHANCE!

Wicked White was the WWW theme for dinner.

I have NO IDEA what we did that night……. (Other than hanging out in K&B’s room and having B&P show up to check out the bruise… and the shave job, which B didn’t care for!)  I think I was still in shock from the JUMP!

THURSDAY

This was a very special day for me—my 43rd birthday!  I was very honored to get to go with Denny to the Santoy School to deliver gifts to the kids.  They range in age from 3 to 5, and what a wonderful school it was!

It was very interesting to get to see the ‘real’ Jamaica.  The children were great, they sang us songs, which were wonderful to hear!  The kids were so sweet- and when the teacher learned it was my b-day, they all sang happy birthday, and I was hugged by almost EVERY child!  We spent a little bit more time there, and then back to the resort.  I cannot put into words what an amazing experience this was.

There were a dozen roses from hubby in our room when I got back- then off to the pool for more silliness and jerk chicken!  C (Of M & C from FL) made jello-shots!!!!!  Could this day get ANY BETTER???

This was also the erotic/exotic gift exchange.  This was an absolute RIOT!  This went off as a yankee swap, and there were some gifts that were very popular, and some that nobody could get rid of.

Thursday night was TOGA night, and WWW color was Black (sheer).

I like to sew, and made a black and gold toga for hubby—I ended up making a twin for me because I loved the way his came out—but an exposed breast???? Not sure how comfortable I’d be with that.. . I found a butterfly sticker, and I was good to go!  LOL

Dinner… There were TWO tables reserved for us, thanks to the teamwork of hubby and  manager Kevin Levee and another woman, whose name escapes me, and it shouldn’t, but I’m very very sorry-She was always at the front desk, and I’m pretty sure she’s management.

Spelled out in flowers on one of the tables was “Happy birthday Kimberly”.  WOW!  Bottles of wine on the table.  What a GREAT day!

Dinner with all of my friends, there was a cake and champagne..

And then all of the silliness that goes with toga night. BUT.. turns out there were 2 other ladies that had their birthdays that night, and we got LAP DANCES from the EC’s.  WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afterward, to the Piano Bar.  Still loving my toga, but somehow lost my butterfly. L Oh well.. between the wine and the champagne, I don’t really care anymore.  There was some birthday silliness in the bar with Dion and let’s just say, shots on me!  J

What an AMAZING birthday—thanks to everyone that shared it with me!

FRIDAY:

Recovering from b-day—NON-alcoholic day for Kim!  Kind of low-key, floating in the ocean, hanging out by the pool, etc.  (still nursing the bruise)

WWW Theme night was black and white.  I had bought two pairs of mesh briefs for hubby, which had not yet been worn.  As luck would have it, they were black and white. So, I wore the black ones with a white tank top, and hubby wore the white ones with a black tank top.

SATURDAY:

Started out as a sad day for us, as it was time for most of our friends to go home.  We made three trips to Moon Hill.  The last one was just John and I, and Sunshine the EC, who ‘half-mooned’, as her job wouldn’t allow a full moon, LOL!  I was very sad, but a bit perked up by my pretty new hat given to me by a wonderful woman with the prettiest accent!  ;)  Thanks, C! (of M&C from the UK)

We spent the day in the pool making hanging out with the few WWWers left, and making new friends.

We played a HYSTERICAL game at the pool with Renex (Triple-X), and had an absolute BLAST!

I had the honor of spending a bit of time chatting one-on-one with J-STFU, albeit a bit drunken.  What a wonderful time!

The rest of the evening gets a bit fuzzy..seems I learned later that afternoon that they served TEQUILA (in addition to the frozen mudelides with rum cream instead of milk)… WOW… Delroy---dude… you got me WRECKED!!!

Happy hour in the hot tub that  night was a GOOD TIME… and a song comes to mind for some reason… “I kissed a girl and I liked it..”.  I met new friends (non-www-ers).. R&B!  (yes, I still remember your  names!)  J

We had also met a new couple from Canada- A&A.  We had dinner at Pastafari.  Then off to the piano bar… um… I think?  Sorry..memory fuzzy… tequila…. Bad Delroy!  LOL!!!!

SUNDAY:

The day we head home---our plane didn’t leave until 4, so got a few  hours in the sun, and got to say goodbye to our new friends.  I was VERY sad to leave this time.  It was such a great time!

A few thoughts/highlights of the trip (In no particular order)

  • It rained a couple times during the week. Imagine my shock and happy surprise when I went to the chair, expecting to find my towel and backpack soaked, and found that the staff had either covered with a float or put in a plastic bag, EVERYONE’S belongings!  WOW!
  • Thanks A&A from Canada for hanging with us that last day!  It was great to meet you- can’t wait to see you again!
  • The bar in the dining room needs…SOMETHING… there is a terrible smell coming from there.
  • Nude takeover of the prude pool after dinner on bare as you dare night. FUN!!!
  • Getting to share this trip with friends (K & B)  We talked HEDO to them all last year, and now we have someone to share memories with without having to “gloss over” pieces!
  • STFU in the piano bar on Toga night-dude, you are TOO Funny!
  • Last year we didn’t inter-act with the EC’s. (our fault, not theirs)  I had a WONDERFUL time with Sunshine and Triple-X, and Energy (My lap-dance dude!)  I got a big hug from him the day after my birthday with him exclaiming, “Happy After Birthday!!!” And Stephanie is the most beautiful girl I have EVER seen!
  • B (of B&P) & His “jingle ball  !!!!
  • Lots more “activity” going on around us this year. Very fun!
  • B (of K&B) jumping up on the edge of the pool to show Denny and I her tanned “lips:….
  • Whip-ohol….. mmm mmm good!
  • B&P You are delightful, as always!  (thank you for  my birthday gift!)
  • Jerk Chicken was available all day-GREAT CHANGE!
  • FUSION by Body Glide.  nuf said.
  • Teaching B (of B&P) how to ‘swing’. (gliding across the hot tub).  Him declaring that we “left something out” after watching some of the action going on around us.
  • A first-class upgrade on our nonstop flight back to Boston!  WOOT WOOT!!!
