This had to be the best trip in 26 visits ever. The flight was almost empty,
no lines, and in and out of Super Clubs, and only 5 people on our bus. Keith
was in his towel as soon as we took off on the bus. Check in took all of 3
minutes and we had suitcases put away and at pool by 1:25 pm.
It was great spending time with Steve and Sabrina, relaxing and laughing,
waiting for the WWW Crew to show up. The Resort was very quiet and
almost empty. Sabrina and I entered Men vs. Women contest Tuesday night and
Wednesday was Repeaters Party held in the Piano Bar.
Thursday brought in many friends and the party began.Our neighbors were Hedo
Bob and Heidi and Kevin and Trish., and what great neighbors they were .Keith
stayed in Kev & Trishs' hot tub more than they did..lol.Thank you for Keiths'
Birthday presents, Trish, we have used them alot.
I won't go day to day, too much happened, but I want to mention some of the
things that stand out the most.Jackey and Richard..the ducks and ping pong
balls were super!Thank you.
Bill and Patty..always great seeing you two and your happy smiles. Patty and
Rupe..Bernie and Elaine, wish we had spent more time this trip. Charlotte and
John..I know I am home when I see you two, and John, thanks for not killing me
for my practical joke.Ian and Angela..your vows were beautiful and I wish you
all the best, you make a beautiful couple.Pete and Mary..enjoyed dinner and
the talks about Motorcycles, I wish I was coordinated enough to drive
one.Brenda and Gary..you guys need to quiet down some..lol..we will come visit
you guys this Spring.Cheryl & Rick..you two are so cute together. Jeb..missed
you last year, was good seeing you again.George and Gail..you two are the
best. I love you both. Edie and Jerry..hehehehehe..thank you both for a great
week..I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Edie..the Hedo Buck Ho..me..the Hedo
Buck Slut...thanks for the competition! Jim and Trisha..oh my God..where do I
begin!? It wouldn't do for us to live close to each other..more about ya'll
later.
I said at the beginning, this was the best trip ever. Some of the funny things
this week:
Jim & Nancy trying to talk a couple of Hedo Virgins to show her clit.."it's
okay..Nancy here is a nurse, and I am a ...plummer.yeah a plummer."Good line!
Saturday afternoon, Trisha gets ahold of a magic marker and writes on Kevins'
chest.."I love keith"..before I knew what was happening, about 25 people had
something written on them about Keith, and guys were asking, "'who the hell is
Keith?"Then we started a reception line, thanking people for coming to Hedo,
hope they enjoyed their stay, and sorry they were leaving. Needless to say,
some argued that they just got here and had 9 more days left, and we informed
them that "Plans changed"...lol Trisha was on her knees, welcoming guest..too
funny.
Dinner with George & Gail, thank you for the beads with our names on them,
brought up the subject of folks who go to Grand Lido to have their pictures
taken for the family to see where they vacationed..we said that our kids used
to fight over who was going to pick up our pictures from Hedo..next thing ya
know, Jim had my leg in the air, nibbling on it and Trisha was leaning over my
chair trying to reach my crotch!..now there is a great family vacation
picture..George caught it on film.
Chris Santilli...you are my idol. One morning she held alcoholic aerobics in
the pool..at least 30 people following her lead.."now release your
bladders".too funny. At one point everyone yelled for Keith to look, they were
shooting him the 'hedo salute", the finger. Chris you beat us at the Repeaters
party for returning times since you won the first time, but we love ya
anyway.We loved seeing you again.
This is the first year that I told people about my aqua phobia, and I'm glad I
did. I don't get into the pool or hot tub, and I wanted people to know that I
wasn't being stuck up, just scared to death of being near the water.I was
surprised how well accepted this was. Thank you all for not laughing at me.
This was the first trip that we didn't go to Pastafari. We left dinner
reservations up to Edie..never again! We ended up at the Japanese Restaurant,
and it was good, I'm sure, if you liked Japanese, but we didn't. It took
forever, and by the time it was over, the buffet was closed. Oh well.Jerry,
Edie, Patty, Rupe Keith & I still had fun talking.
Wednesday night we had a note stuck under our door saying that our
daughter, who is 6 1/2 months pregnant, was in the hospital. That was scary.
Thank you Nancy for the reassuring words that put our minds to ease. Michelle
is doing fine, well sort of. She still has the flu, but is doing better.
Usually we stay after the WWW group leaves and we send you off from Moon
Hill. This year we got the send off. Wow!! that was great. Thank you Edie for
rounding up all the people.
I want to send a special thanks to the Staff of Hedo. Without you all, there
would be no home.From the Front Desk, the Dinning Room Staff, Housekeeping,
Ecs, Ground Keeping, Bartenders, and everyone else, a sinsere thank you.
And now a special thanks to the following people..Kevin & Trish, George &
Gail, Edie & Jerry, Jim & Trisha,Steve & Sabrina, Pete & Mary, Brenda & Gary.
You guys made our trip, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank
you, thank you.
The only thing that would have made this trip any better...
if Chuck & Lynn could have come this year..
