Wow what a trip! Joe here from Joe and Bernadine fame. Bernadine was the extremely hot blond asian girl and I was the goofy tall guy who the bartenders called "Dick Tracy" because of the fedora-like hat I wore at night. We arrived on Friday morning via USAIR and after a 1 hour 20 minute customs wait we were zoomed off on a small mini van van with 10 or so other Jamaican vacationers. We meet Joe (easy name for us too remember) Joe was what is known at Hedo as an Awesome Single Male (ASM) after a brief stop to drain the lizard and grab a drink we were back on the road to Hedo II. Bernadine and I had been to Hedo III in April and really wanted to see the original mostly for the amount of additional wandering space that Hedo II has to offer.
We arrived at Hedo II and as luck would have it we were upgraded from gardenview prude to gardenview nude room 2231. Right in the heart of the action. After dropping our bags in the room we headed straight to the nude beach for 4:00 Jerked Chicken. After eating we stopped off at the nude hot tub were we met Rupe and Patty, Jim and Tricia and many other who we recognized from the DennyP attendees list. After the hot tub we met a nice local man in a little greeen boat who introduced us to a Jamiacan delicacy oh and we also met Mario, the first of many run-ins with Mario. The Friday Night Gala was great! We have never in our life been Full of Lobster but we were that night. Bernadine and I awoke the next day and had deep tissue full body massages at the Spa. The rest of our days consisted of kayaking, walks along the beach, burgers, dirty bananas, hummingbirds, snokeling. The nights consisted of drinks, eating, dancing, swimming, meeting people, piano bar, main bar any other bar...
We hit Ricks cafe and did the cliff diving thing. We went to Booby Cay island and met Jermaine who cooked us two huge, delicious lobsters for $20. Pastafari was great but remember that Pasta can be very filling and should be moderated so that you don't feel weighed down. Munasan was great and we met Ray and Rashina- best of luck on your upcoming wedding. Night club was great but as in Hedo III's night club it is difficult to play all types of music in the attempt to keep everyone happy; the result is a miss mash of music that doesn't really have any continuity. Bartenders were great Shout outs to Paulette, Dervan and Sheldon. Cecila at the front desk was also very nice.
Just like everyone says it is the people that make Hedo so here they are in no particular order.
Jim and Tricia- we will never forget your kindness, smiles and stories.
Kevin and Trish- we had a great time at the reggae cafe Kevin is a great story teller
Rich and Serall - you put the Wild in Wet Wild and Wicked

Rupe and Patty- you brought a smile to our face every time we saw you. By the way Rupe the day we saw you the hot tub on our floats I told you a quote by Thomas Paine- "One step above the ridiculous makes the sublime and one step above the sublime makes the ridiculous again." Rupe you said you would think about it...it basically means there is a fine line between clever and stupid thus floats in the hot tub
Bill and Patty - Is there any nicer action than to take time out of your vacation to say goodbye to us when we were leaving. That speaks volumes of you.
Mike and Lady Di- Thank you for you comforting words and Mike I think you have a great singing voice
Dave and Stephanie you guys ROCK
Finally guys some brief but sad news. Bernadine and I are usually a bit more gregarious but this trip we were not and we hope we did not appear stuck up. A week before we left I was diagnosed with cancer - the news has gone from bad to worse to ...well terminal but am am a fighter and have begun my fight.
