Trip Report 3/31/05 thru 4/8/05

mmmmm............where to begin.................

Well let me start off by saying we have never been to hedo or any other lifestyle/nudist type resort so there will be no comparisons here.  I drank more than my weight in beer every day, and Im missing one entire day due to my friend Vodka and a very uncooperative floating flamingo, so some details are very fuzzy to me but I will do my best.

Travel:  Flew USAir, got bumped, arrived 1.5 hours late and received 2 free carribean airline tickets.  YAY!  We can fly back to desire for free now!!! Yippeee!  After making it through customs in a record 20 minutes, we met our cancunexpo guy at airport for our ride to Desire.  My husband could not locate the man but I found him right away as I am 5' tall and we were both the same height!  Had a suburban all to ourselves (Time to get seriously nervous about being naked!)

We are there!  Checked in , downed the champaign in a second to make dis-robing a little easier, went to room and unpacked in record time and drank all complimentary beer in fridge.  Everything is where it should be, time to go check out the place and get naked.  I have no idea what room I was in but it was OK, not the best, just OK.  I will give a thumbs up to the little refrigerator with drinks in our room.  Nice to have all that water readily available and a beer-to-go if you needed it (we did).  We could really care less that the room wasnt that great as we were out around the resort most of the time.  The resort is just beautiful.  Well manicured landscaping.  Very clean!  And no you will not get killed on the sidewalks for gods sake!  Nothing is wrong with the sidewalks, I have read several reviews of people mentioning this for some reason?

The food....YUMMY!  We have nothing but good things to say about the food.  You can get just about anything you could want for breakfast at the buffet including omelettes with whatever you would like in them, any kind of eggs, waffles, french toast, sausage, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, huge variety of fruit, cereals, etc.   Also a wide variety of lunch is served next to the pool bar including a grill with chicken, fish, steak, etc.  I highly recommend the steak myself!  And if you eat at the tables by the pool bar, waiters come and fill up your drinks constantly.  We only used one of our coupons for dinner which I found the food to be absolutely delicious but it took them 2.5 hours to serve it which was crazy to me.  So if you have time and want to hang out and enjoy your meal, this is the way to go.  I preferred the buffet where the food was good and I could get in and out and get back to partying.  We actually skipped dinner quite a few times and just ate pizza at the lobby bar after midnight.  These pizzas were also very good but in all honesty I might have eaten cardboard at the time and thought it was gourmet food!

Beach: The beach was lovely and very clean I thought.  Some people were bothered by floating seaweed which I found to be very picky as the resort has no control over that, nor does any other beach in the world!  They have a little man picking up the seaweed that washed ashore every morning off of the beach.  I felt this to be cruel, but yet they were employing one more person so what the hey right?

Pool: I found the pool to be very clean every single day.  They did have a problem with paint chipping off and getting on people but nothing big so I probably should not have mentioned it.  Although I do not participate, the pool games were a lot of fun.  The people watching the games were just as entertained as the people playing the games.

Entertainment staff: I can not say enough about the entertainment staff, specifically Nino & Sal.  Oh what a comedy pair those 2 are!  Treated everyone one there like they had been friends with them forever.  Nino is so full of energy, he kept the place alive 24/7!  One afternoon we stole Ninos shorts and all the girls in the pool put them on for a while and then passed them underwater to the next girl.  This was all in fun and Nino took it very well.  He even wore another girls bikini for a while, which of course was VERY funny!

Disco: mmmmm..........not really all that impressed with the disco really.  I cant say it was bad, but playing the same old music every single night for 8 nights did get kind of old.  We did have a vegas dancer in the crowd that pole danced for us and THAT was very entertaining I must say, she was very good.  And of course when our buddy Keith pole danced, that was definitely something to see!  I would have to say the Disco is as good as the people who are in it at the time.

Secret Room: I briefly stepped into the secret room several times, it seemed it was either totally empty or completely full.  It looked like fun but we did not get a chance to actually use it.

Hot Tub: OH MY LORD!  What else is there to say?  This is the location where I first got over my naked fears and never looked back!  This area was either very toned down and relaxing or going full speed ahead with LOTS of entertainment.  We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the beds several times!  I like the fact that it wasnt always the same.  Every day was different at the hot tub...........all good.  And the hot tub bar is even a blast to hang out at.  One day we took a seat at the bar early afternoon and sat there until it got dark.........TALK ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT!  YAY for the hot tub!

The Staff: I give them a 10 all the way, every single one of them!  Very nice, friendly & so VERY accommodating!  It made for a rude awakening when we hit Ft. Lauderdale airport with all the rude people working there.

WWW Group: Ok, this by far is the greatest idea ever Denny!!!  I was very busy online talking to other WWW Desire attendees (mainly my friend Betty) and of course participated in all the chat sessions we set up before the trip.  This made for a very fun time with people that you felt were friends before you even got there.  We had a wonderful mix of people and I thoroughly enjoyed everyones company.  I have NEVER laughed so hard for so many days in my life.  And just for the record this is the REAL Jules not Serall talking!  Serall is my stage name.  Seems like we all had just the right sense of humor to pull together a very fun week!  It was almost like adult naked summer camp!  A special shout out to our friends: Betty & Leo, Serall & Rich, Karen & John the Panty Police, Keith & Giselle, John & Barb, Cheryl & Ron, Cheryl & Russ, Diane & Dennis, Mitch & Jennifer, of course my little friend Marhel and oh my god there is just too many to name and now I feel like I just won an award for something and Im giving an acceptance speech so Ill stop!

All in all we found Desire to be wonderful and have just the right sexually charged atmosphere.  I would recommend this to lifestylers, non-lifestylers and nudists.  The one thing you need the most to have a good time here is an OPEN MIND!  The people in attendance were from all parts of the world and a mix of everything and it just seems to even out perfectly to make it a fun place to be.

And finally to cap off this trip report..
