Rick & Jeanine - October, 2004 Wet, Wild, and Wicked Hedonism III

Hmmm...Im not even sure where to start, so Ill guess Ill just be boring and do the basics from the beginning.
We traveled with the Fall 2004 Wet Wild & Wicked Group (we stayed from Oct. 7 thru Oct. 15) so we missed the last day, but were there 2 days early so we could start off slow (which didn't really happen, but more on that later....maybe).

The Flight in was typical.  We actually arrived on Air Jamaica early, around 10:25 am!  However, the lines at Immigrations were VERY long, and that took up all of the time we made up on the flight, and then some.  Last year we just breezed through with no lines at all.  This year we waited on line for about 30 - 45 minutes.  When all was said and done though, it didn't matter because our bags were still not ready and we had to wait another 15 - 20 minutes for them to start coming out.  We got lucky though...our bags were first and we breezed right through Customs.

Last year we flew to the resort using Int'l Airlink and it was AMAZING!  This year the airstrip was closed for renavations, so we had to seek an alternative way to get to the resort, fast....!  We choose to take a taxi ($70 for the both of us).  This, to us, was worth every penny since it got us to the resort in no more than an hour, and we had our own 'tour guide' on the way there, pointing out different attractions and historic spots, etc.  We were in the taxi and on our way literally withing 2 minutes of clearing Customs...it was that fast.  We could have just taken the bus, but the thought of that horrible ride again is just too much.  We did however, take the bus on the way 'home' and it was as bad as we thought.  It took over 2 hours and was scary, slow, hot and bumpy (and we were in the first seat)!

As far as the resort goes, it was just as we remembered it from last year.  The rooms were nice (with the exception of our A/C being out of service for 2+ days, but that eventually got taken care of) and the attendant and maid service was great.  Our room (#325) was in the Quad.  Nice location, but the noise at night can be a bit much, so you really need your A/C to be working since keeping the windows open isn't really an option if you want/need your room to be quiet.  People use the Quad long past the bar hours......we heard/seen 'parties' going on in there at just about any given hour of the day or night....especially when the Nude Hot Tub was crowded or filled with some of the more 'scary' people...mostly strange, single guys.
We have to stress though, not all the single guys were scary by any means, but the hot tub, late at night/early in the morning, did seem to bring out the odd one's.  Its funny cause we didn't even notice them being around during the day, but 'poof', there they were sitting in the hot tub every night....staring and taking up what would have otherwise been a good seat.  Thats ok though cause we would just make our own fun in the Quad Hot Tub.

The people...well, what can we say?  The people were great and, for us its what really and truly makes Hedo, Hedo!!  Once again we met some of the best people one could ever ask for.  Friendly, funny, sexy, down to earth, amazingly nice and truly people we'd be proud to call friends (and with any luck we will keep in contact and remain friends for a long time to come).  We don't want to mention any names for fear of missing someone, but you know who you are and we thank you!  Some even got to see our 'wild' side!  (-;  Sorry if we offended anyone though...we (she) didn't mean too!  LOL

There were some really talented people there with us that also helped make the trip even more memorable (as if that was possible).  Renee, just an amazing voice!  Good enough to leave 'goosebumps'!  Anthony's piano playing & singing was awesome (we LOVE Billy Joel and your renditions were great)! And who can forget Alan and I's rendition of "Our Song" and "Daniel".......we had a blast!  Thanks!  Now, if we only had taken our video camera out of the in-room-safe.......Oh wait, we did.....but thats a whole other story!  Pictures just don't do justice to how much fun the Piano bar is.  If nothing else, this one aspect (especially Glenn) would be a main reason for coming back again next year.

We're sorry we didn't participate in more of the WWW Group's dress theme's, but we just didn't have the time or patience to shop or be creative before hand.....we work too much!  The "erotic gift exchange" was alot of fun too......We're not sure we'll ever look at a but plug the same again!  (-:
Thanks Denny for everything......it was a pleasure!

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email us and ask.....!
