We visited Hidden Beach for the second time last week. The resort is
even more upscale than a year ago. The new pool and hot tub are not yet
open, however they are expecting to open soon, and are working on it.
Some sort of plumbing problem we were told.
The food and service continue to be excellent. The beach, below the
water line is still rocky, however they told us they have applied for a permit
to dredge the beach to get rid of the rocks. In Mexico that may take
some time. They also are planning to add about 32 casitas at the north
end of the resort.
They hold a nude booze cruise on a 70 foot Cat once a week. It is at an
extra cost, but well done and very nice.
Did have a problem one day with two couples who didn't understand the PDA
policies of the resort. They were extremely overt in their actions.
Another guest complained and the resort handled it very well. By the
next morning both of the PDA couples were gone, as were the couple who
complained, who left voluntarily. Very smooth from there on.
We heartedly recommend this resort for people who need to get off the fast
lane for a while.
