PICTURES

Just returned from our fourth trip to Desire Pearl.

Little bit about our background in nude resorts.  We started going to GLN and Hedo in 1996.  Over the years expanded out to HIII, GLB, and Couples SS.  The past couple of years since GLN was closed we’ve moved over to Hidden Beach and Desire Pearl.

Arrival in Cancun was easy.  Anyone who has flow into Cancun knows you have to run the gauntlet of the timeshare salespeople in order to get out of the airport.  Look down, don’t make eye contact and don’t stop until you are outside the door ;-)

Let me stop a second and say when we go to Hidden Beach and Desire Pearl we purchase from a person who is a member which gives a percentage off, free 25 minute massage, lobster dinner, poolside concierge service and free airport transfers.

So we are out the door in Cancun where there are many, many drivers holding signs for their passengers.  We find the sign with our name and are told our car is on its way in.  Be there in 2 minutes.  Great just enough time to get a drink, last drink I have to buy for almost a week ;-)

Driver loads us up in a new Navigator and off we go.  Short 30 minute ride to the resort which sits 1 mile north of Puerto Morales.  Whole bunch of smiling faces check us in.  They offer us a room upgrade to Master Suite that would have cost $1500 to book for $400 and throw in another lobster dinner and additional 55 minute massage.

We check in, room is beautiful.  Denny is going to post pics that I sent him and video walk through of our room.

Food

Pearl has three restaurants.  Aphrodite serves buffet and made to order breakfast and lunch and becomes an upscale restaurant at night with a menu centered around a theme Mexican, Italian, ect that changes nightly.  Upstairs they have what they call a Gastro Bar that supposedly serves tapas although my wife had lamb oso bucco and then made baked Alaska table-side for dessert.  The third restaurant is the Pearl and it is fine dining 4-5 course meal with a menu that rotates throughout the week.  Men are required to wear long pants, women whatever sexy revealing outfit they like.

Beach/Pool/Hot Tub

Beach has loungers and day beds.  You are not allowed to be nude past the day beds as nudity is illegal in Mexico.  The beach stretches for many miles in both directions for those who like to walk.  Seaweed was an issue while were there and has been an issue over the years although they do have a crew that works constantly to clear it.

The main pool is barbell shaped with one end being much larger than the other.  The small end is known as the quite end and the other end is where all the day time entertainment occurs.  In between there is a small area that they use for volleyball.  On the big end is a swim up bar that is also accessible from the beach.  No PDAs are allowed in the main pool.

By mid-afternoon most people start to head towards the hot tub.  The hot tub is at least if not larger than the one at Hedo.  Same general clover leaf shape but has what could be considered a stage in the middle ;-).  Chest deep with plenty of shelf area to sit.  It is surrounded by day beds and it has a swim up bar ;-).  PDAs are allowed at the hot tub and pretty common.  We are told late night rivals Hedo but more comfortable with the day beds ;-)

Pool Concierge

The manner in which we purchased our stay gave us a pool concierge.  This is the cat’s meow.  You point out which chairs you wish to sit in for your stay then everyday your chairs are reserved and covered in towels awaiting your arrival.  The concierge comes by every hour or so arranging you dinner reservations, spa ect.

Speaking of Spa

The spa is beautiful.  We ended up with a 55 minute couples massage and a 25 minute couples massage which the happily combined to an 80 minute couples massage which was wonderful.  On their spa menu they also have a couple’s erotic massage.  It is a full hands on.  No part of the body is left untouched.   They give you a diagram of the human body to mark things you don’t want touched.  Leave it blank and guys are going to get stroked and girls digitally penetrated.  At the end they encourage you and your partner to have sex and they give you the choice of them sticking around to help.

Bars

Four bars.  Lobby, pool, Aphrodite restaurant and hot tub.  Very well stocked.  I drink Don Julio.  They have blanco and reposado.

Crowd

Crowd runs the entire gambit from 20’s to 80’s with most in their 40’s but I think each age category at the younger and older end is much better represented than at hedo.  But everyone is young at heart.

Night life

Sorry I can’t comment hear because we are not the late night crowd.  They have a great bar off the lobby that they have a show and becomes a disco.  Each night is a theme and they all seem to be well attended.  One of note was “Tape Art Evolution” which involves using colored electrical tape to make your outfit.  There was a workshop during the day at the pool and it is amazing what you can do with electrical tape.  The outfits that were showing up that night (as we were leaving dinner) were amazing, beautiful and hot.

Resort over all

Resort is only 88 rooms but is typically very busy.  Grounds and rooms are meticulously maintained as you can see by pictures.  Mexicans have a thing for cleanliness.  We wish our house was as clean ;-).  There is a play room for those wanting to participate.

The place is simply spectacular and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any of my Hedo friends.

I am sure I have left something out. I’ll answer questions or send Denny an addendum.

Respect,

 Phil
