Desire Cabo
Pictures
Let me start by saying we are in our mid 30's & have been to both H2
& Desire Cancun several times. So its hard not to compare the
resorts. I classify H2 as a wild Frat party, Desire Cancun as
a romantic house party & lastly Desire Cabo as a small expensive
boring get together. Don't get me wrong, we had fun but we had
to look for it or create it!
We started our vaca in Cabo San Lucas @ an all inclusive 'regular'
resort. We saw the Arch, Squid Row, the Zoo, the Office, Cabo
Wabo & more. It was spring break our resort was completely
booked (600 rooms), people drinking & partying everywhere. We
went to a beach party with a band, lots of food & 500 people!
We had a terrific time & was aloud to get in the Ocean/Sea.
Then we headed up to San Hose Del Cabo to Desire, it was at 30%
occupancy. The resort is SOOO small, not enough pool lounges &
too many clothing rules to not offend the neighboring resorts.
We had fun participating in the games (ie; Volleyball, Ping Pong,
Wet TShirt, pole dancing, theme nights & so on) & won a couple
shirts. The EC's tried but could not get all the events off.
The fire pits where a nice touch & the heated pool was great.
The food was very good, fresh fish daily, nachos & the pasta bar was
to die for. The rooms were clean & good enough for the little
time spent in them, frig & robes came in handy. I recommend
the 3rd floor however only elevator if needed is next to the lobby.
We heard every step the people upstairs took. I saw very
little action just light touching & kissing, No need for the Sex
Police here.
We walked into town one day to pickup some things, we decided from
the pace & surroundings it is probably a nice place to retire.
There is a Mega (like Walmart) store not even 1 block from the
resort so you can buy anything you may of forgot without paying the
resort gift shop prices.
Our most favorite part of the trip was the Dune Buggy excursion
www.transcabotours.com
it was a total Blast & transfers where included in the price.
We were out for about 3 hours on the Dune Buggies, 2 hours in the
desert & sand pit (real cool jumps) & the last hour on the beach.
The guide leads you out & stops @ some historical stuff, than pretty
much lets you play freely. I strongly suggest you buy the $30
insurance offered on site, the fixes range between $250-3000.00
depending on what breaks. 3 Buggies went out in our group & 2
of them broke, Thankfully not ours but of course I did buy the
insurance.
We met some real nice people & had great conversations - it was a
much needed life break for us. Thanks to everyone we met, it
was a pleasure getting to know you all. As always we reconnect
with each other & have terrific sex. The weather was perfect
85-89 daily & cooled off to 65 at night. We don't see us going
back to Desire Cabo, were going to try H3 next year & the lifestyles
Hawaiian cruise in 2010.
Thank you Denny for all your hard work maintaining this site.
Attached are some pictures to share.
