Desire Cruise - Venice Foreplay 2017 - Azamara Quest: Liability

Liability   

 

              i.        The Cruise Operator is acting as an agent for third party suppliers in selling travel related services, or in accepting reservations for such services that are not directly supplied by the Cruise Operator (Such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, etc.).

 

             ii.        The Cruise Operator shall not therefore be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such third party suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, injury or death to the Traveler or the traveler’s companions or group members.

 

            iii.        Unless the term `Guaranteed` is specifically stated in writing on the Traveler’s ticket, invoice or reservation itinerary, the Cruise Operator does not guarantee any such third party suppliers’ rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling or handling of personal effects.

 

           iv.        The Cruise Operator shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any Traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside the control of the Cruise Operator.

 

            v.        In making a reservation on the Cruise the Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and releases the Cruise Operator from, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements for each destination on the Cruise Itinerary, together with all safety or security conditions at such destinations, during the entire period of the proposed travel associated with the Traveler’s Cruise reservation.

 

           vi.        For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, the Tour Operator and the Traveler should contact the Travel Advisory Section of the U.S. State Department and for medical information applicable to international destinations, the U.S. Public Health Service.

 

          vii.        By embarking upon his/her travel, all Travelers voluntarily assume all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Travelers are therefore hereby warned of such risks and advised to obtain appropriate insurance cover against them.
