Ted: March 3-11, 2018

We traveled to hedo after a 3yr hiatus. Flying Southwest was Great. Arriving early was wonderful but confronting a football field of Travelers in Immigration on a Saturday was a Disaster to say the least. We were unable to secure Club MoBay for our Arrival which was rather Unfortunate.  In the Future we will try to travel on a week day. (Yes we have already decided to return). We will also try the option of a private  shared Taxi or Flying to  Negril. Taking a shared Bus was not a good option this trip.

Arriving at Hedo was Absolutely Heaven. Our Room was ready but I was surprised by my Husband when he Upgraded to an OVN room.  It was not one that had been newly renovated but still had all the bells whistles and perks of being so close to Nude Pool . Everything fell into place from then on and we both agreed it was as if we had never left!

The Heated Pools felt  Perfect!  I (We) were leery,  but they felt great and there were people using the pool and Hot tub at night!  I mean Who Needs a heated pool in Jamaica? But they have it down to a science and there was never a time when it felt too hot, too cold, Always Perfect!!!!!!

After being away for 3 yrs we are impressed with Food and Liquoir  .  Quality with food has always seemed good but somehow got better!  Kudos to the Chef !Presentation with the  overall change from Cafeteria style  to a more professional upgrade in the Dining area is refreshing and was a much needed  improvement. Choices were abundant with a Variety every day of the Week. We were fortunate enough to be visiting while Lobster was being served on Friday the 9th of March. (I am not sure when Lobster Season starts and ends). But there was and abundance of it on this visit!!!!

Entertainment always amazes us and it shows that the E.C’s go above and Beyond. We truly enjoyed Denise’s Rendition of “3NonBlonds What’s up” .Winston is in top form and Continues to excel in the entertainment field. Hedo is extremely lucky to have him as part of their family!

The Improvements made at Hedo, aesthetic and otherwise that were needed to keep up not only with the times but general deterioration are simply astounding.

With so much Entertainment and things to do and see nightly, sand gravity  continues to dominate our days. We had the privledge to meet many people from 3 other groups that were at the resort while we were there.  What a great time! So many people!  And believe it or not , enough Beach and Pool chairs (OK some people still save, that’s going to happen) Always enough towels!!!!   Bottled Cold Water was in Abundance and such a great idea!

We were especially blessed with Sunny Warm Days and a  limited  but expected Jamaican Rainy afternoon.

We have absolutely no complaints from our stay.

We came home and  I found  (2) 5.00$ Hedo chips in our luggage.  I mean, We Have to go back!
