I must say that I was very happy with my trip to
Hedo II. I have been going home to Jamaica for over 20 years, and
have seen good and bad. First, let me say that the guests make Hedo II
what it is, and why we go. I remember the days when PDA only
happened at night in the hot tub. Then, it appeared to become a sex
club, PDA everywhere. You couldn’t sit or stand anywhere without
seeing a PDA show right in front of you. Yes, of course I watch at
times, but honestly, I feel like I am watching my grandparents at times.
But, of course grandparents need loving too.
Then, there are the single guys. Yes, single
guys come to Hedo II for attention too. It annoys me when I hear
couples, mostly men, complain about the single guys. “They shouldn't be
allowed in the hot tub at night. They shouldn’t allow single guys
at Hedo II, etc.” Guess what people, or should I say “accepting of
everyone” people, single guys deserve to use the hot tub as much as
anyone else. They pay the same amount of money as everyone else.
OK, now for the newest group at Hedo II, Bloom, or
should I say Open Gay Black guys. Wow, Jamaica has really changed,
and Hedo II also. The week I visited was the first time I saw two
guys kiss in broad daylight, and have sex in the hot tub at night.
Will the Lifestyle crowd survive their homophobia?
My opinion, for what it is worth, is that Hedo II
is for everyone who dare to adventure in the known and the unknown.
If you like what you see, keep watching. If you don’t like what
you see, turn and look the other way. in Jamaica, we say Respect.
The Resort itself, wow, it is changing. I
like the Classy Lobby, and the nice dining room. The rooms look
nicer, and Hot Water. We used to laugh about not having hot water
years ago. The food, Excellent. OK, the grilled fish is
cooked to long, but I remember when we only had chicken every meal.
The meals during my visit were exceptional, something for everyone.
Great job to the chef, kitchen, and dining room staff.
My only real complaint . . . I had to leave and
return to the real world. But, I am counting the days until I
return in March 2016. See you there.
