Glenn & Nancy - May, 2012
This was our second trip to H2, the first with a group (Wicked
Wildcats).
First off, we flew non-stop out of PHL on Carribbean Air/Air Jamaica.
For the slight increase in price it was WELL WORTH it! I think our
flight was the first one into MoBay, so the entire immigration\customs
time took MAYBE 10 minutes! Yes the plane departed at 6:00 AM, but we
were in the nude pool by Noon!
The Good: Well it's H2! You get out of it what you put into it. The EC's
do a great job working for you to make sure you have as much fun as you
want! For us, the Nude Grill would be the only place we would eat if
they served Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. We don't know what it is about it,
but some of the best casual eats in the world are right there.
Entertainment was provided nightly, but we were so tired most nights
that after dinner we were ready for bed.
The diversity of those in attendance was a big plus this trip. We saw a
range of ages from early 20's, to us middle age kids. Really was a treat
to see such a great group that the Wildcats brought in.
The room was not a surpirze, had PLENTY OF HOT WATER, was always clean,
and well taken care of. Only down on the room, a drip from the water
faucet.
The "Eh..." Ok, we had crappy weather 4 out of the 7 days. Cloudy,
really WINDY, so much so that the red flags were up. Didn't make us
change our plans, we still went to the pool, and had a great time!
The "Bad". Munasan. We like Japanese Hibachi cooking, and we were
severly dissapointed. The meat had a "liver"taste to it, and was tough.
The service was out of sorts... getting our soup after being served the
main course, and the waiter seemed confused. Everybody at our table left
food on their plates, and went to the buffet.
We've already out next years trip on the calendar! Irie!
