Ginny - April, 2012

4/16 – 4/20 – Comments here were noted on the Comment Card as hereby suggested.

10:30 am – No lines at Emigration or Customs, straight through.  Had to wait for the shuttle for 30 minutes and no bottled water.  Small van with little AC.

Food – Breakfast and lunch buffet better than before.  Omelets better than usual.

Nude Grill wonderful as usual.

ECs were non-existent and didn’t even know when they started an activity.  No announcement at the Nude pool (which is something they ALWAYS did..at least in the past 10 years.)  Couldn’t even tell you one of their names. I do have to say maybe it was because we were only there for three days, but I would have thought there would be something going on during that time.  We normally sit at the ocean or pool alone, but never heard anything.  In the past, when we have checked the chalkboard in the dining room, it has not come to fruition.

Never notified of the Repeater Night.  Heard it from someone else and just showed up.  Nothing to write home about except the beef.

Munisan was much, much better than usual.  Martino’s was inconsistent.  Soup horrendous, salad okay, but too heavy on the dressing.  Rack of lamb great, but mashed potato was very bland.  Dessert also not good.  Didn’t try the antipasto bar.

Midnight buffet didn’t have a good selection.  And what they did have, it wasn’t very tasty.  Missed the red hot dogs.

No piano bar player.  A patron did sit down for awhile and played.  He was great.

As usual. the service, accommodations,  beverage selection and people were great and hated to leave.  Be back in August.
