Ed & Carol (aka Al & Peg)

2/18-2/27

We left Atlanta on time and arrived 30 minutes early in Mobay. We hurried down the ramp and we greeted by a fairly long immigration line. It took about 30 minutes to get thru immigration, which allowed delta to unload our checked bags and then we proceeded thru customs to the main waiting area. We had discussed flying to Negril and just as we turned the corner we were greeted by a "hawker" from Airlink(www.intlairlink.net is the website and reservaion@intlairlink.net is their email addy). We asked when the next flight was leaving and he said "NOW", so we fast walked over to the waiting plane and off we went to Negril. The 14 minute flight was spectacular, very smooth and provided great views of the island and many of the resorts. We landed in Negril and took a bus (overkill) over to the resort ($6). Be careful when traveling with Airlink, they have 2 prices, one for regularly schedule flights and one for "private" flights. Just ask before hand so you know, but all in all it was worth every penny and we will surely use their service again.

As we arrived we were greeted by an EC who offered to go and get us a cocktail which was a nice added feature. Check-in was a breeze and we couldn't believe we were on the beach with our friends and it was only 1:00pm. Being Nude is such a great feeling and having a few cocktails too didn't hurt.

This was our 13th trip to Hedo and for once we DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING MAJOR TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. There was plenty of hot water, the AC worked fine (actually too cold and I had to tone it down some), the service was much better and while we do not eat at the dinner buffet if possible, one night the pork roast was OUTSTANDING. Martino's food was well prepared and I enjoyed the steak and my wife enjoyed the lamb chops. The lunch buffet has been expanded some and breakfast as usual was outstanding.

A few minor points that need improving include the need for additional lounge chairs at the beach during peak weeks, an additional bartender at the nude bar during peak weeks and maybe someday before we die they'll drudge out the bay on the nude side so the water is over our knees. I'm not sure why this can't be accomplished when the beach on the prude side is much deeper and much cleaner.

Tricia at the front desk and Denva at Martino's made extra efforts to insure our trip was enjoyable. All in all a good time was had and we can't wait for our next visit in July

to see our old friends and make some new friends.
