Bruce & Laura - March 2011

My husband and I were at Hedo II from March 25 to April 2 with a great group, the Hedo Amigos, who transplanted from Hedo 3 this year.

Two other Amigos were on the Superclubs bus with us to the resort, so that sure made the trip seem shorter, as did the Red Stripes we bought at the airport! Probably the only negative of our whole trip occurred shortly after arrival.  Instead of a bellman taking you to your room, they now load your suitcases into a little truck and take off with them, and leave you to find your room on your own.  We were given vague directions “Go through the dining room and take a right”- no map to follow, nothing.   As this was our first trip together to Hedo 2, we were completely unfamiliar with the property.  15 or 20 minutes of hot, tired wandering later, we finally found the room and our bags. After a long day of travel and multiple flights it seemed downright rude to be left to our own devices that way.

But from then on, it was all SO GOOD!  Although it was late and he was closing, the cook at the Prude Grill took pity and made us sandwiches and fries to tide us over to dinner, bless his heart. We then made our way to the nude pool to be greeted by applause from our fellow Amigos and numerous naked boobie hugs!

Daytimes were mostly filled with naked pool/beach lounging and hanging out with the Amigos. We did go out sailing on a small Hobie once- Adrian (Watersports) took us out on a nice long sail and was great, charming, and talkative.  We also took out a double kayak one morning and my husband went snorkeling one afternoon.  My husband I also found a couple of great spots for some outdoor bondage/flogging play on several occasions.

Our group and WWV (Wild Women Vacations) had a couple of pool parties during the week that were just over the top great.  The first one was at the Prude Pool and I understand it had been many many years since the Prude Pool had held so many nude, happy, rowdy people.   WWV brought a DJ who was terrific and kept great music going at just the right volume, the ECs led a naked waterslide contest, we played pool volleyball, played with squirt guns,  and were just generally ridiculous.  And of course the Friday Blow Out Nude Pool Party was unbelievable; kind of hard to describe, with beer pong tournament, wet T-shirt contest, a couple of Amigo birthday celebrations, B&B’s alcohol-soaked gummy bears, Fifty pouring some kind of green alcohol into my mouth, and all kinds of crazy goings on until early evening.  EC Winston was a great sport when we threw him in the pool and he had a tight little circle of naked women dancing around him.  Serena was also a good sport about a dunking! Fifty and Thrill were in the pool with us on numerous occasions throughout the week, playing with the squirt guns and water balls, joking around, volleyball,  etc.

We also did the catamaran trip to Rick’s Cafe.  The cruise itself was fun- the Amigos took over one entire catamaran and partied naked and drank there and back, about 45 minutes each way.  Rick’s itself was a letdown- WAY too touristy, there were thousands of people there.  A few Amigos jumped off the cliff into the sea; I never did see a Jamaican cliff dive, although they were looking for someone to pay them to do so (we declined).   We just wanted to get back on the boat ASAP.  When we did, it was sure fun to flash the other boats and watch them all wish they were having as much as our boat was!

We were thrilled to see Serena, former Hedo 3 bartender, is now a Hostess at Hedo 2, so she’s not just behind the nude bar anymore (although she did jump in many times while we were there to make drinks when things were really hopping).  She just seemed to be in the right place at the right time over and over to make everyone’s vacation better.

The EC’s were great, as always- especially Winston, Fifty, and Thrill.  In my opinion, Winston really has a talent behind the mike, and I don’t just mean his incredible singing voice, but he has a real knack for handling people, keeping things entertaining without haranguing anyone, never shouts as some of the other ECs seem to think they need to do...

We (and our fellow Amigos) dressed up for most of the theme nights, which added a lot to the fun.  My husband had great fun on fetish night dressing up in black with horns on his head and a flogger on his belt and parading a line of shackled slaves through the piano bar, dining room, etc. down to the WWV party at the “lewd pool” below the disco.

We made sure to be at the Piano Bar every night that Deon was there- what an outstanding pianist/entertainer.  His sense of humor is great, he engages the crowd, and we had so much fun there, it was really the highlight of our evenings.  Amazing how Deon nearly always manages to get someone dancing naked on his piano!  My only “minus” about the piano bar is that sometimes an EC would come in and think they had to grab the mike and perform- which interrupts the flow of the fun;  in my opinion, in the piano bar their role should be to encourage the crowd to sing along with Deon, not perform themselves.

We ate at Martinos once during the week, which was a nice change from the dinner buffet.  Dinner was okay all week long- I’d have to say food is the one and only area in which Hedo 3 was better than Hedo 2, mainly because I seem to recall more choices at H3.  But the food was good and varied, and breakfast, when we made it there, really excellent.    We mostly ate lunch at the nude pool grill, which was basic but dependable.  It was really nice that the nude pool also had some salad choices, pizza, meat pies, popcorn, and nachos to snack on throughout the day.

Too much else to cover- it’s amazing to think how much we packed into 8 nights- is it too soon to start the countdown to next year’s trip?     --- Laura

(From Bruce): To add my two cents here-  On Monday, we looked at each other and talked about how after just two full days we felt like we had been partying for a week already.  I for one loved H3 and have to say the move to H2 was a sore point for me personally.  Thank goodness Serena, 50, Nick and some of the others  who made my life at Hedo 3 so much fun were there at H2 to greet and care for us transplants.  The water sports staff that I met, all of them, were great and more than willing to help us have fun. Our room (2208) was clean and well cared for by the staff (including Sadie) who also took the time to find help so the shower was no longer a mystery tour.  ---- Rum Cream all around!   ----Bruce
