We attended in May 2011 with the Wild Bunch.

Check in, check out, transfers and room were all good.

The entertainment was good. The staff were exceptional. Theme nights were great. The hot tub, unlike past trips, was a good temperature all week.

The piano bar rocked. The disco was ok on the nights we went, though a little more variety and less techno would appeal to us.

Booze was good!

The one complaint. The food sucked! We've been to Hedo before and this was the absolute worst. We thought it was slop and it will be a big factor in deciding whether we return again. Would like to hear better reviews indicating a big improvement before we return.

The Italian joint was the best spot however we were there three times and three times they were out of lamb. The Japanese was ok and the buffet was awful.

You know there's something wrong with the food when everyone is saying "We don't come here for the food." While we agree with the concept that the food is not the primary reason why we go to Hedo accepting bad food on that basis is just a cop out. We're not complainers but did express our observation to management and are disappointed we did not receive a follow up indicating that they heard the concern and are going to address it.

There's no reason why a better job can't be done in this regard. Hope Denny shares this trip report with Hedo management and really hope they do something to address the problem.
