Mike - August, 2010

We flew into Jamaica on Tuesday.     This was our 4th trip to Hedo2.      Bus ride stopped at bar on way there and wasted 30 minutes of our time.     Bar was only 20 minutes from Hedo.    We always book ocean view nude with hot tub.    Normally we ask for a room as close to the nude pool as possible.   This time  we were told that the last bank of those rooms was closed.     Never did hear if they were being renovated or just closed.    Our room ended up being just past the official nude beach area.   Which kind of sucked because our ocean view was of Jamaican art work and sailboats instead of the ocean.    Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the resort was as close to empty as I have ever seen it.   Friday it did fill up with more people.

Shower in our room never had hot water and barely had water pressure at all.    The frig in the room broke the second day we were there and was never fixed while we were there.     The bridge that leads from the water slide out to the beach is closed because it is falling down.   One of the steps going down to the beach was closed because the rusted metal handrail had finally fallen off.    Caution tape roped off the rusted pipes left sticking up.

Food was even less inspired than previous years.     Dining room was still like sitting in an oven.

We did the boat cruise to Rick’s café.    It was nice but they left three people at Rick’s and just sailed away without them.   Hopefully they found a way back to the resort.

We did enjoy hanging out with all the friends we’ve made from previous years.     We even talked them in to opening the water slide at midnight one night.   Naked water slide in the dark was a new thrill for us.

Only thing I can say that we saw for the first time this year was 2 lesbian couples.     Didn’t bother us any but made us wonder why we had never seen a gay couple there before now.

Rained every afternoon we were there.     But with the rain we would have melted from the heat.    After the rain stopped each day weather was great.
