Kevin & Pam - January, 2010

This trip report starts on January 26th and ends on March 1st 2010. Saving everyone from doing the math that is 34 nights at Hedo II. We're sure it's no record but it is out of the ordinary.

This was our 6th trip to H2 with the previous trip being July of 2001. We notice there were many obvious improvements but unfortunately the visible ones were on the prude side specifically the upgraded fitness center and the unused pools below it. We got a ground floor room in H block and everything worked including the hot and cold water temperature consistency. That was almost priceless. We seen familiar faces in Augustus and Carl in the water sports department and Delroy is a fixture with more residency then the bar he so greatly serves. Robert is long gone but his successor Nigel filled his shoes more then adequately.

We arrived at the last of a Lifestyles week and besides the "swing" of carnal purpose on the beach and a few more shows we noticed little difference in the tempo with the exception of PDA being forced from the beach into the naughty area of the pool and hot tub after Lifestyles vacated in February. A February highlight was the training sessions Tantric Hearts put on. Their classes were held in the fitness center and were virtually packed. The "G Spot" and "Charming the Snake" were thoroughly enjoyed by both genders. The oooh and ahhhs amazingly almost occurred in unison. Apparently if the same technique is applied the same results are achieved at about the same time. If your fortunate enough to be at Hedo when they are there do not miss their classes.

The hot tub temperature was often too hot for someone to stay submerged for 15 minuets negating a lot of it's purpose. The insect spray was occurring at approximately 6PM and the cloud drove many out of the hot tub as it passed overhead. They appeared to fix that problem. Regarding the night activities at the hot tub we missed most nights opting for TV and sleep. When your there for 34 nights you pace yourself accordingly. This allowed us to be very well rested during the day which we believe is an uncommon experience for Hedo II guests and we enjoyed the feeling greatly. On several of the nights we did go to the hot tub the bar opened late and was out of beer initially. The lack of initiative of the night bartender to get reapplied on a couple of nights was upsetting. .The lack of ice in the soda dispenser at 11PM was also a too frequent problem.

Urchins were prevalent and I personally obtained a makeshift spear and went to war with them getting about 250 over a few days. Agustus and Carl buried their remains and no kind words were said over their grave.  It's amazing what you can do when you sleep plenty and drink little.

Needless to say the guests faces may have changed but their quality to almost a person puts them at the top of any group anywhere. If you can't have fun at Hedo you should never bother to leave your home because people just ain't your thing.

Two groups were there in February the Bubbly Bares and Fluffernutters. Both kicked it up a notch with the Bares having a terrific band on the beach that played music fitting the age of most of the guests. Fluffernutters used the prude pool for a gathering that worked out well and should become a standard for any large group in attendance. Their C&T party needs bigger facilities then the disco; great party but too small of a place to have it.

We were asked often, "How do you survive Hedo for that long". The answer is to pace yourself. We drank little and stayed up a bit late only two or so nights a week. Even then it was not too long of a night. There is plenty of fun to be had during the day.

Kevin and Pam or UNDERWRE to the Fluffernutters.
