Alma's Hedonism ll Trip Report April 2010
My husband and I arrived at Hedonism ll April 27/10. Last October
we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This trip, the
highlight was spending time with the Men of Steel April 28/10 -May 4/10.
They were scheduled for Saturday night's entertainment with an exotic
dance review and a bodybuilding competion on Friday. The rest of the
time they planned to vacation and mingle with everyone just like any
other guests. Filming the reality t.v show with The Bad Girls Club
(Oxygen network) was a surprise to the Men of Steel too. Turned out it
was an unpleasant surprise. They and also the female EC's were treated
very rudely by the Bad Girls. At first when the camera's were rolling
(no there were no camera's present for the "forking") the Bad Girls were
friendly enough with The Men of Steel. However, even when filmed the Bad
Girls insulted and booed one of The Man of Steel's performance Saturday
night and then Sunday night stabbed the same talented young
man with a fork leaving a permanent 4 inch scar on his handsome face
and puncture wounds on his neck and back. I saw one Bad Girls 'flip the
bird' to one of our favorite EC's when they were filming at the
disco. As The Men of Steel were sponsored by Hedonism ll and also
SuperClubs; mingling with guests was an expectation of their sponsors.
We met all of the Men of Steel and were delighted with their company.
They were extremely polite, friendly and laughed and chatted with us
every evening. During the day we hung out with new friends at the nude
pool. Several of the Men of Steel came over to to the nude pool to chat
with us and other guests several days but otherwise we met up in the
evenings. We gathered from some of the other guests and we also
witnessed several older ladies approach the youngest member (19) of the
Men of Steel and tactfully demand he remove his clothes. He opted to
leave instead. The day before (Wed) he went to grab a burger at the nude
grill shortly after arriving and got himself in alot of trouble for
keeping his clothes on. At first he joked that he'd take his pants off
if some young women gave him some help. When the women arrived he
realized it was no longer a joke and that these women were extremely
angry at him for making it difficult to take his pants off. I heard this
story first from the young man involved and then from other guests who
repeated the story for the rest of the week. Well as you can imagine,
the story took on a life of its own. I tried to explain to one friendly
lady that I thought it wasn't fair to get extremely angry at young men
who take their clothes off for a living for deciding NOT to take
their clothes off. Their visits to the nude pool were very brief and
they were not there to "Gock" they were there to see where the majority
of people hang out and later to pass messages on to guests they had
become friends with. I am very pleased Hedo ll and SuperClubs invited
The Men of Steel but I would not expect them to get naked with me and
other guests at the nude pool. Yes, the Man of Steel who got carried
away with one of the EC's while on stage was deeply regretful and
embarrassed (and recieved a reprimand from management). Just as the very
young and very sexy Entertainment Coordinators deserve to be protected
from harrassment; the Men of Steel deserve the same courtesy. The
negative talk/rumours about the Men of Steel prevented many people from
even approaching the Men of Steel. It didn't help that when the so
called incidents occured the Men of Steel were more sober than the
other guests. Another evening in the Piano Bar, the youngest Man of
Steel was attempting to offer a chair to an older woman. A younger woman
took offence and started screeching... This non event was held up as
proof of what terrible people the Men of Steel are. Nothing could be
further from the truth!!! My husband and I were treated with the
greatest respect by the Men of Steel. I was thrilled to spend time with
them and I appreciated the frequent hugs and compliments from Ainsworth;
not only a Man of Steel (Mr.Jamaica body building competition winner
2002, 2007-2008; he's also a bronze medalist Canadian and American
Cup, Jamaican Bobsled Team 2004).
I
am a plump grandmother type so it was wonderful to feel young and sexy
again. Hedo always has that effect on me but my experience was
definately enhanced by the week long company of The Men of Steel. We
will plan our next trip to meet up with The Men of Steel again.
