T
Ok let me start with WOW!! We had the best trip ever! We met so
many awesome people! I won't even begin to list them, because
there are just too many. But you all know who you are. From the
running commentaries in the hot tub to ummmm more in the hot
tub, you all made our experience a blast. I will try to address
all of the concerns we had beforehand, but I am sure I will miss
some. If you have a question about anything, feel free to post
it and I will try to answer it.
Rooms/Resort
We stepped out of the bus from MoBay to a warm "welcome home."
Check in was a breeze, we were brought drinks while waiting on
the paperwork to finish up and then given a brief tour as we
went to our room. The rooms are relatively plain, but clean and
functional. Our maid did a great job cleaning and was always
leaving fresh flowers and some sort of towel creation. The AC
worked great and the room was always the right temperature for
us. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Augustus does a
great job taking care of the beach, although I don't know how
since he spends most of the time flirting with the ladies and
messing with the guys.
Food
You are not staying at Sandal's (even though the kids think you
are) If you want 5 star food go to a 5 star resort. Having said
that, the food was good. It was reasonably well seasoned and
tasted good. Not great, but good. The Japanese steak house was
good, not like we are used to, but again good. Pastafari however
was awesome. We ate there 2 nights and both meals were
delicious, their red wine is pretty good and we enjoyed both the
beef and pasta dishes. I highly recommend at least one night of
dining there. Charlie makes the best omelets ever as well as
eggs to order. Breakfast was definatley our favorite meal from
the dining hall. The coffee is great!! We never left the beach
for lunch, so I can only speak to the nude grill. The jerk
chicken is very tasy! Dee loved the grilled cheese with tomato
everday. We really enjoyed the grill and all the food we tried
from there. I truly believe the drinks are watered down during
the day, but that is ok because I wouldn't have lasted into the
evening if they weren't. The drinks at the piano bar are full
strength however, and after just a couple we were feeling no
pain.
ECs
I read alot about the ECs before we went that said the energy
was low and they weren't organizing anything. Nothing can be
further from the truth! We played nude volleyball and naked
waterslide everyday. Well except the day we got Brady drunk at
the nude bar playing a drinking game. Lucky 7 for the win!! They
were awesome people, we sat and talked with them daily and
learned alot about the culture. Sunshine and Brady are the
best!!! If you aren't having fun, it is your own fault!
Dress
We saw it all, from a cute little sundress to a totally mesh
dress and everything in between. Be as risque as you dare if you
feel like wearing it, or not as the case may be, do it!! No one
will look twice. Well they will, but in a good way! There is
nothing you can wear that you won't look good in.
PDP/PDA/PDeverything
Wow, I saw every possible position and act I could think of. The
hot tub was rocking every night, but we saw it all during the
day and never saw anyone told to stop. We enjoyed the shows put
on by all and may or may not have participated in a few
ourselves! It seemed to me that if you wanted to it was
totally accepted.
People
This is what Hedo is all about. We met so many awesome friends.
There is something about being naked that makes everyone equal.
When all of your flaws are out there, you are left with only
yourself to rely on. We spent all day talking with people and
getting to know them. It was the best vacation ever. We
developed friendships that will extend well beyond Hedo. We are
already talking about doing real world activities with some of
the people we met. Talk to people, have fun with them, get to
know them. You will be surprised how awesome everyone that has
the guts to go to Hedo and get naked is.
Theme Nights
While we were there the only nights that had even moderate
participation were Toga night, Fetish night, and PJ night. PJ
night was very well attended while the other 2 were somewhat
followed. I didn't notice much participation at all in the other
nights.
Piano Bar vs. Disco
The disco is loud, hot and the music isn't very good. The only
night I saw more than a handful of people there was PJ night. We
went a couple of times and left very quickly. The piano bar is
ROCKIN! I talked to one guest who said this was his sixth time
and that wa the most fun he has had at the piano bar. Dion does
an awesome job getting EVERYONE involved. Our very first night
at the resort we were both naked on top of the piano with me
going down on her. Followed by us doing a dance I don't want to
spoil for everyone else, but those who have been there know what
I am talking about! But hey, isn't that why we go there? To do
stuff you would never do in the real world. The karaoke nights
are a mixed bag, some nights were rockin, another night it got
shut down early because not a single person stepped up to sing.
(I have no problem being naked, but singing....that is
embarassing!)
Summary
Hedo is about the people! If you want gourmet food and 5 star
luxury, this is not the place for you. If you want to meet some
of the funnest and coolest people ever, this is definately the
place for you. Get involved in the activities and talk to
people. Get naked as soon as you get to your room and head to
the beach/pool, it will only take a few minutes until you are
comfortable. By the end of your trip, I promise you will HATE
wearing clothes. Participate in the theme nights as much as you
can. Your trip will be whatever you want it to be. If you go
there with an open mind ready to try anything and willing to
participate in all the resort has to offer, you will have the
trip of your life! If you go with high expectations and no
desire to try anything, I bet you will be disappointed. To all
of the people we met, THANK YOU! You made our trip the best
experience of our lives. Real life probably will limit us to
every other year, but we will be back and look forward to
hanging out with you again! Keep in touch and soon come!
