Lucky Number 7
<<wink, wink>>
February 14-21, 2009
(single non-lifestyle gal on her
7th trip home)
As I boarded the Air
Jamaica flight I once again tuned out the real world and
found myself relaxing thinking about ‘home’.
Immigration and customs took about 45 minutes and
then I arrived at the superclubs lounge.
After handing my resort slip to a guy behind the
counter he asked the typical questions that I usually get
asked by the immigration staff – are you here by yourself,
meeting anyone, and then out pops the friendly smirk.
I just smile and admit that I am a hedo gal – guilty
100%.
I ended up waiting in the superclubs lounge and then
on the shuttle for a bit longer than usual, only to find we
were waiting for one more couple and low and behold it was a
wonderful couple I knew from a previous trip – they made the
shuttle trip fly by as we chatted and soon we were at the
resort ready to check in.
Soon after arriving I went
to the dining room bar, only to see my ‘chicken
dancin’/Canadian friend Max standing there in a towel.
Hugs soon ensued and then a lady came up to the bar
topless saying how she lost her top – just hate it when that
happens… Hehe!
My room this year was room
1102, a prude ocean view right next to the back side of the
disco. It was
the first room I have ever had that had an actual tub/shower
combo in it. The
maid did an excellent job keeping it clean even when I made
messes with glitter on the floor, etc.
The window was unlocked when I entered the first time
(not again throughout the week)
à everyone remember
to check it before you leave each time or go to bed.
The water was lukewarm unless I let it run for a
while before using the shower.
The room A/C units are excellent.
My only issue with them is that they are so quiet
that they no longer block out morning noises (ground
maintenance, maid carts, people walking by, etc.) and so I
woke up each morning after about 4 hours of sleep – though
it did get my butt to breakfast a few more days during the
week instead of just eating my typical breakfast of
champions – grilled cheese with tomato!
While I made my way down
the beach to the wild side, I was recognized and welcomed by
staff and guests alike (it really is wonderful to see
everyone smile and greet you).
One day I was being hugged by a sweet grill chef only
to have an EC come up behind us and pull me from behind
saying how I was his wife…seems like I have many hubby’s
connected to that place.
J
The days flowed into one
another, absolutely perfect sunny weather was present and
absolutely perfect people were
there having a great time.
I was lucky enough to meet several people from both
previous trips and new hedo friends – love ya guys!
There were also several single guys and they were
completely respectful, in fact a comment was made about how
one or another would have been welcomed had they been less
polite/courteous.
Only one ‘shark’ was
present and usually only at night – fins up ‘mon. There were
bananas everyday and the piano bar rocked until closing each
night Dion (the piano player) was present.
He made an announcement several nights that no
pictures were to be taken during piano top performances and
even made one person erase pictures that were taken.
General Comments
Resort security was present and active throughout the week,
removing people who were not supposed to be there, etc.
The towel program works well, the only down point is that
you have to go back to get your towel after the disco before
going to the hot tub/pool (I used to always find spares in
the prude side cabinet).
The old cabinets are no longer there.
The prude side hot tub is still missing – no replacement.
There is a cold food station next to the nude side grill
with potato salad, etc. available (great idea!).
Both grills are excellent – especially when Pringle is
working.
Outside entertainment was brought in most nights.
I somewhat remember the following:
Saturday: Winston & Sunshine performed; Sunday: An
outside female performer; Monday: Mega performed; Tuesday:
Jamaican drummers and dancers performed; Wednesday: 2
talented outside performers sang with the band; Thursday:
continues to be staff and guest talent night; Friday: an
outside female singer and Sunshine performed.
The theme nights posted on
www.hedonism.com are
accurate, but were not fully established yet.
ECs:
Winston,
Mega, Dean, Michael, Eaton, Brady (newbie), Omeca, Sunshine
(Charlene), Vixen, and Mystery (new to H2, but was at H3 for
3+ years)
Highlights & Funnies
Meeting the brand new EC ‘Brady’ and then later watching him
get initiated by 2 lovely ladies while lying on his back on
the piano – why were your hands covering your face Brady???
Hehe!
Watching 2 nekkid guys spell out YMCA with their legs while
laying head to feet on the piano being careful not to
overlap certain parts…
Hehe!
Being so tired/lazy mid-week that even
the basic thought process related to walking to the bathroom
took an hour.
Which one is closer….do I really need to go…which one is
closer…do I need to put clothes on to use the prude one…
Standing on the beach around the point watching an amazing
sunset while pointing out various fish to another guest -
there are a few starfish, a sea slug, several zebra fish and
oh, there is a group of gray pecker fish while her eyes
widened in complete belief.
Those pecker fish like big worms….Hehe!
Discovering the 2 small rooms connected to the disco on the
water slide pool side, showing one of them to another repeat
hedo peep while jokingly making moaning sounds only to hear
applause come from the other room.
Throwing a few regular sized condoms on the piano during a
sexy show, only to have them called ‘extra small’ by the
piano player.
The next night I upped the size to Magnums, only to have a
friend throw a Magnum XL to top mine – not knowing that he
would have to prove that he needed that XL size on top of
that very same piano!
[Needless to say all of the ones thrown were soon in
other pockets.]
Going from being considered a ‘tease’ to being a ‘fantasy
girl’ for one very handsome guy – what a loverly thought
that still makes me smile.
[Maybe next trip’s tank top can have that on the back
and your beautiful girlfriend’s phrase on the front, eh?
;)~ ]
Having many people come up to me or pull me aside to say how
my laugh made the room brighter.
I am still amazed that it is recognized at all.
Laughing until my belly hurt, and talking and screaming
until my voice was gone – both signs of a great trip!
Having an airport security person pull
me aside to say she recognized me from her time that week in
Negril – just gotta wonder what I was doing to gain her
attention. ;)
Going up behind a new hedo friend at an airport shop saying
how I would recognize his butt anywhere, having him reply
‘hadn’t he seen me nekkid somewhere..?’ and then watching as
the cashier laughed at both of us.
Yep, they let us zoo animals out every once in a
while.
Once again I spent my trip talking to everyone, staff,
guests and even a lady who works her trade at the resort.
And, once again doing so proved that if you treat
everyone the same, a level of respect beyond just being a
guest/tourist is found and appreciated.
When leaving, I continue to say ‘until next time’
with tears barely kept in check.
To all the great peeps I
spend time with this week, I send out big hugs, bigger
laughter and high hopes that I see you again on my next trip
or in the states – don’t be shy!

Lisa
aka
Willa, Kyttles, or whatever!
ps.
For those who only packed carry-ons to avoid the checked bag
line: upon
leaving the checked bag line was very reasonable, it was the
security line that was backed up as far as the eye could
see. Luckily
both moved along at a consistent flow.
pps.
All 100 condoms found happy (or assumingly happy)
homes.
General Comments submitted to the resort for suggested
improvements:
Keep Gala night as a weekly occasion – it was not held the
week I was there and many people missed it (including the
lobster).
Entertainment suggestions: the dining room circus act needs
to be added back to the shows (many never got tired of
watching it and missed it this trip), bring in a real reggae
performer for Reggae/Jamaican night and start an audience
scavenger hunt (vibrators, red panties, etc.) for pirate
night (Hedo 3 did a similar idea and it was a lot of fun &
laughs).
Have a central location for sheets or scraps of sheets for
Toga night. Years ago, Hedo 3 had a box available of pieces
that were actually easier to use than whole sheets and it
worked out well for both staff and guests.
Thoroughly bleach behind the main dining room bar at least a
few times a week, this is the first trip I noticed the
old/bad alcohol smell and it was present every day.
Hosing down with water isn’t enough and the
bartenders work too hard to be surrounded by that smell.
Increase the level of A/C and/or add fans to the piano bar
and disco. There
was A/C present, but not enough, especially in the disco.
Replace the corded microphones with cordless ones especially
for the main dining room stage.
