April 2009 HII Trip Report
Having just returned on April 4, I have to share my joy at finding the HedoII of old alive and well. We've all experienced various levels of service in the past and right now, things are wonderful. Kevin has made some attitude adjustments at the front desk since my last trip. They were prompt, quick, and had me through in less than 5 minutes. The staff was always courtious and kind, downright helpful in fact.. The meals in the dining room were exceptional. I've had the experience on previous trips of mystery dishes that were icky, not this time. Cudos to Kevin, the new chef, and SC for renewing my faith. It might even be better now than it was way back then. We dressed every night for themes and created memories that can't be taken away. Scuba dives have changed somewhat. Divers must have advanced certification to do the 9AM deep dives. Others will do the 11:30AM shallow dives. This cuts a big hole in your day (11am-1:30). With the afternoon clouds, we didn't see much sunshine when we had dives. |
