I awoke as a
birthday girl, it was my 43rd birthday and I celebrated
in style! We met up with our newfound friends who I will call
JC and made reservations for us to eat at Pastafari that evening and
also requested a birthday cake. Needless to say I wore my
birthday suit all week long but especially today. I am still
amazed at the wonderful tan you can get on the nude side, I swear
the sun rays are more bountiful on the nude side than the prude
side. I noticed at breakfast that there were no more scrambled
eggs at the buffet and that I had to get Charlie the Egg Man to make
them for me. No problem with that, as he makes fabulous eggs
and omelettes. We met up again that afternoon with Karolyn
from the French Kiss group from
After a great day at the nude pool and beach, we came back to our room and had a little fun in our room hot tub before dinner. We got dressed and met JC at Pastafari for a wonderful dinner. I had tenderloin and Bill had the grilled lamb. Both were excellent. The staff then brought out my birthday cake which was great. We then went to our respective rooms to get ready for PJ night. How appropriate for PJ night to happen on my birthday!
PJ night: I decided to dress as a dominatrix and have Bill be my drink slave for the night. This was a good decision, because we were the only ones dressed for the bondage category, which meant that we won a bottle of rum! It doesn’t matter if we won by default, we still won, which was still a win for me. There were some very sexy ladies dressed for the evening, who rightfully won sexiest outfit. We saw Karolyn at the disco, who said after seeing my real handcuffs on Bill, “You Americans, you are very serious!” Ha ha! What a great way to end a birthday evening.

I want to stress to you how important the guests are to Hedo management nowadays. We not only spoke with Lorna Clarke, Hedo’s general manager and had lunch with her, but also Sophie (Sophia?), guest relations manager, several times during our trip. They also phoned us in our room twice to make sure our vacation was everything we wanted it to be. I have never seen so much attention to customer satisfaction anywhere I have ever traveled. It was very evident this trip; Lorna was walking around chatting with everyone at all times during the day. I always told them that we were very satisfied, that we had no problems whatsoever, which was true. Besides our honeymoon, this was probably the best trip we ever had anywhere. Hedo is very serious about pleasing their clientele.
Wednesday was an uneventful day where we just went to the nude beach and took it easy. We did attend the Repeater’s Party, where a very deserving couple who was on their 16th trip won the grand prize of 5 free nights. We are only on our paltry 6th trip so it will be a while before we win any nights. But we will have fun adding up the trips!

Thursday. Also known as the day that time forgot. Because Bill had been drinking all day, it finally caught up with him and he fell asleep at around 7:00 p.m. which means that we missed Toga Night altogether. But I was a good wife and fed him twice throughout his slumber. But he was deserving of the slumber for the show I put on last year on my birthday, which I am still trying to forget, which consisted mainly of drinking way too much vodka, and interrupting people at the nude hot tub yelling IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! over and over and over again. Never again…….

Sadly, Karolyn and her French Kiss group were leaving today. I hope to see them all again next year. We took the morning to go across the street to the gas station near the airport but I still didn’t’ find any beer that I wanted to drink (I fruitlessly looked for Michelob Ultra—now why did I think I could even find that there?). We then went over to the vendors and bought several things for our friends and relatives at home. Bill got an extra treat when we purchased some things from one vendor who was so happy that we were his first sale that he gave Bill a “present” which Bill was very thankful for (the only thing I could think of was “Free Gift With Purchase!” ha ha!). But I spread our purchasing throughout all the vendors so that they would all have sold something that day, instead of purchasing everything at one booth. I was very happy with my purchases and we went back to Hedo. Later that afternoon, we walked on the beach by Sandals and took some pictures. I tell ya, those people staying at Sandals looked like the most bored people on earth! They needed a little Hedo love! I actually felt sorry for them as I headed back to Hedo. I also felt sorry for myself as it was our last day at Hedo, but I knew as we were heading back that this would definitely not be our last trip, so I felt better.
That concludes my review of our trip this past March. Sorry it is so late, but as they say, better late than never! See you at Hedo next year!
