Hi Everyone--This was our first trip to Hedo 2 using SuperClubs to book it and Air Jamaica as our carrier.  Well, after getting up at 3:30 am to catch our 9am flight that was supposed to get us there by 1pm--we were more than a little disappointed to learn our flight had been cancelled and we were rerouted thru Maimi--with a 61/2 hour layover...we were at the resort by 11:30 pm!  I'm sorry, but we booked with AJ so we could HAVE most of the day to play!

Anyway, our wonderful friends were there to greet us, naked and wet which is how we love them best!  The resort is absolutely beautiful!  The beach much, much better than Hedo 3 but something was missing.  And that would be the attentive, gracious staff that is always happy to see you at H3.  I don't think I'm being nit picky when I say that when I'm on vacation and spending my hard earned money to go there, I would like to have service with a smile.  Or at least a word.  We ate one afternoon at the beach grill and the woman who took care of us (boy is that term used loosely) did not speak one word to us.  Just looked at us, we ordered, she gave us our food and that was it.  My husband likes to tip and means well when he does but why should we tip bartenders who virtually ignore you or other staff who are wishing they were anywhere but at work?

We had a most wonderful time with our group of old friends and had the opportunity to make lots of new ones.  Thank goodness for them all....they were our saving grace!  As soon as they left we escaped to H3 to which I do owe a big thank you to the woman at the front desk.  We left the hotel at 11 and were in the pool at H3 by 2:45!  Talk about "WELCOME HOME"!!  We've only been to 3 two other times but we're given big hugs and a bit of a scolding for being 'traitors' but of course she ended with "Welcome home baby, it's all good"  The accomodations were great...I love the little extra's like fresh flowers and that towel on my bed in various shapes...I got a huge penis one morning!  I just had to laugh, and take pictures!  The food at the Pastafari was fantastic!  They served at steak that was huge and delicious.  The disco was a lot of fun, especially with the EC's winding the crowd up.  Even the bartendars, little troublemakers, had us doing shots and laughing and basically unwinding and just set the mood for the rest of the night.  And oh what a night!  But that's another story.....  Can't wait to get back next year--but just to 3, we'll pass on 2 thank you!
