1st time wonder!!
When I first booked our trip (5 ladies
from the ages of 35-41) to Hedo II, I was
nervous about the “Nude” activity comments
that I read everyday for 3 weeks up until De
Day…lol…. I drove myself crazy for NO
reason!!! So here is my story….
It all started at 8:35am BWI-Air Jamaica
airlines, the flight was on time, no
worries, check-in, no worries on the plane
and reaching our destination as well as
customs to/from Jamaica…No problems mon… (As
I’ve heard from other comments AJ is
horrible, bad service, delays etc.) I guess
I caught them on a good day….and I say to
those people, “There’s NOT a perfect airline
service out there sometimes delays are good
it may be saving your life”!
We took the drive from the airport in
route to Hedo stopping at the rest stop for
bathroom break, alcohol break, and smoke
break if that’s your thing…lol…smooth ride
no issues there…of course I had my
issues…lol… the closer we got to Hedo, the
more thinking I did… I had an image in my
head from the previous weeks of reading all
sorts of comments that when
pulling up to Hedo’s lobby there
would be nekked people having sex in the
lobby while we checked in…LOL….I know I’m
such a mental person…lol…anyway that wasn’t
the case…We got checked in within 10-15mins
of our arrival and they brought us drinks
while we waited…as 1 of 2 rooms was ready so
they held the others bags until the second
room was ready and we were eating lunch and
drinking rum punch by noon!.
Room: The room was clean nothing to brag
about everything worked the AC, shower,
toilet, bed was somewhat comfy, I didn’t
toss and turn so I guess it worked out or
maybe I was dead drunk every nite and didn’t
notice any difference…LOL... We had plenty
of towels and anything else we needed...I'm
a 5-star kind of girl but didn’t mind being
in this hotel it was clean and it serves
it's purpose that's all nothing
more....Didn’t bother me much as I spent
most my time outside and not inside….Who
hangs in there room anyways...lol....
Packing: I always have a tendency to
pack TOO many clothes…I literally didn’t
wear ¾ of the clothes/shoes I packed I even
brought aqua-shoes and didn’t even wear
them…Ladies, all you need for your trip is
bathing suits, flip flops, shorts and tank
tops maybe a few sun dresses/sandals for the
restaurants…and that’s only if you plan on
being on the
Prude side…lol
Food: The food was great, nice variety
never went hungry or bored with the
menu...We made reservations a day in advance
to Pastafari restaurant before the
crowd…Great food! Plan to go atleast once
while you are there. It was my 40th B-day
and they brought out a whole cake with
candles for me, which took me by
surprise....and everyone in my section sang
Happy B-day…how sweet…lol…The service was
great it reminds me of a 5-star restaurant
in the States.
Drinks:
The drinks were
a little weak at first in small cups,
so you found yourself going to the bar every
10-15mins for refills…”depending on how much
you drink”…lol… until someone advice me to
ask for double shots of whatever I was
drinking and that seemed to work…lol…and
then I got even better advice buy a BIG
insulated cup get double shots and you won’t
have to keep going to the bar for refills,
so I went to the gift shop and got a great
big cup…that worked even betta…so yes get a
big cup…lol
Service: From the housekeepers, to the
waiters (Special Thanks to Kimmola she’s a
sweetheart went out her way 4 us) to the
ground keepers to all of Hedo
employees....they were all great! The
grounds were always clean, you didn’t see
trash, food hanging around, the pool/jacuzzi
was clean, the outside bathrooms
(lobby, beach area) were nice and
clean….the employees at Hedo II are ALL
outstanding workers…they go out there way to
make you feel comfy day or night…..I take my
top off to you ALL!!! Much Love!
Entertainment: Lots of activities during
the day and at night…The entertainment staff
was great kept you on your toes…Thanks to
Abraham,
Winston and
Matthew you guys Rule!!! Lol…Every
night at dinner they have some kind of
entertainment (live band, singers, dancers,
crowd participation, etc.)…Thursday night
was Toga night (the white sheet wrap
around)…Those folks wore some very creative
toga outfits I was impressed with there
creative ways of wearing a sheet…they really
go all out on this toga theme…great job
guys!...We didn’t get dress in sheets this
time around being newbies and all…lol…but we
will be ready next year…! Toga was the only
theme night I can remember but the guest
seemed to dress…. I like to call it…”fantasy
outfits”…lol…during dinner…they wore 6 inch
heels w/ booty shorts, his/her dominatrix
outfits, color hair and sheer dress to match
even some men were dressed…we were in “Awww”
the 2nd night you can tell they
are Hedo Vets it was pretty cool…FYI…Don’t
feel like you need to run out and find
“fantasy outfits” we didn’t dress up at all
and didn’t feel out of place…
We didn't need to leave the resort for
fun they have all kinds of activities all
day I left the resort maybe once...although
I noticed the Nude side has most of the fun
activities and I even heard a DJ on the
beach, folks on the nekkid slide and all the
noise of laughter etc….lol…since WE was on
the Prude side most of our stay it was a
little boring at times but relaxing…I do
love the fact you have a choice to be on
either side nude or prude… Occasionally I
saw 1 or 2
if not 3 folks that were nude and
decided to hang over at the “Prude” side
which at first bothered me just a little
bit, but after day 2 everyone looked alike
Nude or Prude...lol...one good thing about
it all the nude
wasn't all in your face or forcing
themselves on ya…Well let me back track just
a little bit…lol…there was this one guy that
loved attention and he would flaunt around
overly showing off “if you know what I mean”
and one evening we were just sitting around
the dining area near the stage and this guy
jumped on stage naked and yell “HAA” all you
can do is laugh or ignore him…lol…you know
there’s always one fool in the bunch…lol…Our
last day at Hedo WE (3 out of 5) made our
way over to the nude side (after all
my refusal from day 1 not to go) beach…let
me tell you…it was a great experience hard
to explain but I felt free and wanted to
stay that way (nude).... the only thing I
regret is not going over there sooner during
my stay!
Can’t wait for next year!!..Far as
night life we had Karaoke night in the Piano
room, and then the disco room which played
all types of music just enough to get the
body movin…I read a comment somewhere,
people were complaining about the music
being too loud in the disco room and I
thought to myself it suppose to be loud it’s
a club….lol…Now that I’ve experienced it for
myself it is too loud!! But nice LOL…
Transportation:
We finally made it off the resort and
went to a club called “The Zoo” (Free for
ladies on Thursdays b-4 midnight at the
time) it’s a nice club has 2 floors and
several rooms, a great variety of music no
one person would be bored…We asked security
at Hedo to find us a taxi as we figured he
would get someone that’s reliable…The guy
(cant’ remember his name, shame on me)
picked us up took us to the club gave us his
number and waited for us while we
partied…When we was ready to go he was right
outside…! Now that’s service!
My point is ask
an employee or someone at Hedo to
refer a taxi oppose to finding a taxi on
your own…
Personal Msg.:
There's
only (1) tiny thing I didn't like about
Hedo.....and that is how you had a few folks
that would walk around the dining area with
just there private areas covered at times
(and not all the time securely
covered).......from what I understand….” as
long as there private parts are covered they
are allowed to be in the dining area..”.Me
personally just don't feel that is sanitary
…just the idea of possibly finding pubic
hairs in your food really makes me sick....!
I really think Hedo should rethink that rule
sorry for being such a prude…lol….!
