First time to Hedo II trip report…certainly not the last!

LOGISTICS

I decided last minute to go to Hedo.  I booked on Thursday and left the following Tuesday.  It gave me very little time to research exactly where I was going.  As a first time single female, I was pretty nervous as I drove to the airport.  However, a bloody mary at 6:30 am helped easy so anxiety.  At the bar in the airport several folks going to Jamaica were asking each other where they were staying.  I intentionally separated myself from that group!  I flew Air Jamaica and the flight was on time with no issues.

Customs was fairly fluid and finding the Super Clubs reception area couldn’t have been easier.  There was only one couple on the bus with me to Hedo II.  They had been to Hedo many times so I questioned them to death the entire way to the resort!  They were amazing and I know that they will be friends for a very long time.

Once arriving at Hedo, things never slowed down.  The staff greeted me immediately and within 5 minutes I was off to my ocean view nude side room.  I had signed up for single share but ended up staying alone the entire time without even asking about it.  I had no problems with my room the entire time (A/C, towels, toga sheet, etc)

LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE

I immediately opened up the shades in the room.  Wow, I thought, they really are naked!  It started to rain a little but nothing to prevent me from checking this whole thing out.   It took me a few tries to actually take my clothes off.  I knew I couldn’t just walk down there with clothes on while everyone else was nude.  So, I put on a cover-up, walked down to the edge of the sidewalk, chickened out, and walked back to my room.  By the time I got back to my room I had already decided to go back.  This time I made it…and never had trouble taking my clothes off again!  In fact, putting my clothes on was more of an issue!  I walked up to the pool bar, ordered a drink and immediately met at least 10 people.  Hedo people are the friendliest people in the world.  For anyone concerned about going alone, I hope this eases your mind.  I think I will always choose to go alone now.

I spent the rest of the day at the bar and really enjoyed the jerk chicken (loved it) at 4.  This is when everything gets a little fuzzy.  I wish I could determine one day from the other but my rum consumption prevents that from happening.  More than anything, the people make Hedo what it is.  Sure, there are things unique specifically to Hedo….like watching oral sex at 3 in the afternoon, the hot tub, the waterslide, etc....but nothing is more unique or enjoyable than the friends you meet naked!  It’s hard to put the entire experience in words.  Next time (which is hopefully soon), I will try to make a daily journal.

Leaving Hedo was more depressing than I imagined.  The ride to the airport was quiet, but the airport certainly wasn’t.  The line for Air Jamaica was HUGE.  It took quite a while to get through the lines, but it still left time to stop by the Duty Free, grab a quick beef patty from the deli, and realize my trip was over…for now!
