Sean & Lisa - March, 2005

Sean & Lisa  March 13 - 19, 2005

Thanks to DennyP for this site. I am positive it is because of this site that our trip was so amazing. One super cool chic (Hi H) started a yahoo chat group and invited everyone that was listed as going the same time to join. We shared pictures and chatted for a few months. We made friends even before we arrived. The only way to go.

To give you perspective on our experience, a bit about us. Married, together 10 years, 33 & 40 years of age, grad degrees, pretty good shape, fun, probably considered somewhat outgoing, one of us loves the bud and we are (or have been) lifestylers. First trip to any resort ever and have never done the nude beach thing. We were certainly a bit nervous about being nude, being arrested for buying the stuff and being accosted by swingers : )

We arrived MBJ. By the time we hit the bus we had, in very suttle and non-threaten manner been offered the sale of drugs 3 times. The advise was not to buy it until you hit the resort. We listened. The bus ride was fun and interesting but we napped for most of it. We looked around the bus and thought we were the only ones on this bus going to Hedo for sure. A silly Red Strip stop and another 30 minutes and we were quite surprised to find out the entire bus was going to Hedo. Okay, I can hang naked, so to speak, with these people : ) A bunch of normal people just liike us.

We were judges in and registed  through the Ms. No Swimsuit Competition. We chilled, had a drink or two and waited half hour or so until we were given our room. No hurry. We enjoyed just being there and taking in everything.

Hedo hit us head on. While chillin out waiting for the room this small group came walking by nude. Oh my, their not supposed to be there nude - I read that somewhere, I'm sure. But nobody cared. We found out later they were going to Moon Hilll to say "goodbye" to thier freinds. An act we totally loved doing later in the week for our new best freinds.

Room was cool. Nothing special. Clean. No real complaints. Loved the mirrors. Loved the shower. We sleep with a fan on for white noise so we loved the loud air conditioner. Minor bathroom issues but hey, don't go to Hedo for the rooms.

I sensed the spouse is stalling while unpacking. Our plan was to hit it right away. But she was getting cold feet. Finally got her out of the room and within 2 minutes we were standing in front of the NO PHOTOGRAPGHS, NUDE BEACH sign. I dropped em, she paniced a bit but dropped em anyway. What the heck! No announcments, no band playing and no-one even looking. What was this? We started walking. Saw Delroy's bar and thought a drink was a great idea.

As we approached the bar we see this gorgous dude also heading to the bar. I knew immediiatlly he was one of our friends from the chat group. The spouse wispers "Yeah, Baby"  . . .  5 minutes later we were wet, nude hugged to death by about 20 of our new best freinds in the whole world. How cool was this. So happy we on-line meet this group before going. It totally made the trip. (Love you all. Thanks.) The party started there and never ended.

Essentially, our routine quickly became; wake up quickie, breakfast around 8, back to the room for a quickie, nude beach around 10 (chill out, drink, laugh, watch the PDA's, do a little floating), Roberts @ noon (grilled cheese w/tomato and fries - yum), hit the pool and/or nap w/quickie, hit the hot tub around 4, jerk chicken at 5, mud slides, closed the hot tub around 7 or 8, nap and/or/quickie, din din, drink, check out the disco then either to the beach, hot tub or room for a private party. Bed, to sleep, by 3 or so (this totally surprised us as we are early risers and early to bed in our everyday life).

It is possible to have way to much sex, food, alcohol, laughter and friends and to love every single minute of it.

One of my favorite moments was seeing what appeared to be a beautiful naked women out of the corner of my eye. I looked and thought to myself WOW! Very nice. I thought for a second, looked back and sure enough . . . that women was my wife. I LOVE THAT! That, to me, is Hedo.

We found quickly your body had very little to do with your time there. Its clearly the brain. Taking a wild guess (from our time there and with only a small % of our brains actually working of course), most couples did not engage in PDA's nor did they hook up with others. We met the entire gamut and had fun with them all. All ages, all shapes and all comfort levels. The respect and comfort level was amazing, unlike any that we had ever experienced.

Its funny. I read about the food, entertainment, rooms, on and on. Its all good. Some great. Some just okay. But meant very little. Its the people, the respect, the letting down your hair, living life, experiencing it all, loving and respecting your partner even more than you thought possible . . . Hedo is home.

Who won the Ms. No Swimsuit Competition? We don't know. We didn't even find time to vote. Can't tell you about the snorkeling, diving, catamaran cruise, circus act, most of the entertainment or even what the prude side looks like. Missed the playmate shoot but who cares? But I can tell you how to love, how to fall in love with your partner over and over again, laugh, find new friends for life, how to cry tears of joy  . . . and I can give you directions HOME.

Most of all thank you to all our new friends. We love you. You made our experience.

peace and love,

Sean & Lisa

PS: The couple they refer to as Captain & Teneil (sp) aka California Dr. couple rocked. Loved them. Hedo should pay these two. Performers for sure. Thanks you two.
