Ron - March, 2005

This was my 7th trip to Hedo II.  I went to Hedo III once before, once to many, but that is another story.  I always go alone, but this year, I took a friend, PJ, along with me.  A big mistake.  Those of you who met him, know what I mean.  Unfortunately ???, he came down with the flu on day 3, so he was bedridden for the rest of the trip.
We left LAX Wednesday night and arrived at MoBay at 0700.  Customs line was empty, but the Customs Officers were slower than slow.  I think they forgot to drink their coffee.  We drove the bus to Hedo with a full bus of people going to Grand Lido, so we didn't meet any new friends yet.  We arrived at Hedo II, and it felt great to be home again.
Thursday:  We stayed in a Garden View Nude Side.  The room was ready on arrival, the A/C was great.  The shower had hot water (and lasted all week).  Then off to the nude pool, and party, party, party.  We even went to the water slide, and were greeted with a few Prude smiling nervous faces.  I met many new friends, and a few old.  Some didn't know how to tie a Toga, so I invited people back to my room for a Toga Tying party.  Someone actually put up signs on the Garden View Side to give directions.  We had a great time.  I always like Toga night, because I can laugh at myself, and enjoy tying the togas on both guys and gals.  I even won a bottle of Appleton Rum, for Most Roman Toga.
The rest of the week went well.  They finally got bananas on Day 3, so I finally enjoyed a Dirty Banana.  They ran out of Jack Daniels on Day 2, so I had to drink Jim Beam.  Then, one friend, Gary, got me hooked on Estate, after they ran out of Jim Beam.
The food was ok, but no lobster this week.  I felt weird not seeing the Easter Bunny.  Maybe next year I will wear an Easter Bunny outfit to the nude pool.
I did have a great time, as usual.
Then the drive back to MoBay, after staying up all night, was uneventful, except for one younger guy determined not to puke on the ride.  We got to the airport, went to Duty Free to buy a bottle of Rum Cream.  The lady took my credit card, charged it, and told me the bottle would be at the gate.  I thought this was a change from last time I was at MoBay, but was too tired to ask.  So, I get to the gate, on the plane, and no bottle.  The 2 flight attendants said the bottle would Soon Come, but no bottle.  When the plane was ready to leave, a 3rd attendant told me that they never deliver to the gate.  So, I am out $15.  Oh well, I guess I have to go back to Hedo II again soon, and be more alert, and have one less drink.
Respect mon,
Ron
