March 18-23
We arrived in Mo Bay in the afternoon after a slightly turbulent flight out of Newark.  There was NO ONE in immigration or customs, and our little group made it through in record time. We arrived in the lobby late in the afternoon and were immediately offered mimosas and rum punch.  I dont remember this from my first trip two years ago but it was a nice touch.  It took a few minutes to get the room situation in order, and I was a little disappointed to find out I was practically staying at Sandals ( I didnt realize just how little Id be in my room) but after  meeting up with my two gal pals from NJ who had arrived the day before, my mood was instantly improved.  I made my way up to my room.  I have to say the white paint in the rooms looks really nice.  I thought that beige crap was pretty dingy looking.  The new showers are really nice too (Kathie will certainly testify to this fact)!  I made my way over to the nude side where everyone elses rooms were. And then we all headed down to the beach and tested the water.  I met back up with everybody at dinner, and after that well the night gets a little blurry.  I made my first acquaintance with Appleton and Orange.  Oh Boy!  Lots of drunken dancing in the disco and all kinds of other debauchery I am sure!  I woke up the next morning feeling like my head was going to fall off but I quickly recovered!  Saturday was my first cat cruise.  The weather was perfect, and Rasta Ralphie was a blast.  After the cat cruise the rest of my day can pretty much be summed up by all booze and no food.  The rest of our little group arrived over the next couple of days.  We were hardly what you would call "highly organized" and were free to float in and out of each others company as we deemed necessary.  This worked best, and it was unfortunate that things got a little cliquey towards the end of the week.  The only other things:  I ate at Scotch Bonnet this trip which I did not have a chance to do last time and the food was great.  I made my way into the piano bar which I did not discover on my prior trip.  I thought it was kind of lame.  Also, I did notice a definite change in some of the staff.  A lot of people seemed very unhappy, and hopefully things will improve soon.  I was happy to make the acquaintance of Bradley, a new EC that had been at the resort for less than a week.  Yes, um, um, um you are ATROCIOUS!  Ok so I am going to skip the whole leaving, flight home thing.  Its always the same, I cry like a baby on the plane!  Now for some shout outs: Kathie and Kelly, what can I say?  You two are like family to me and nothing makes me happier than knowing you two will be a big part of my summer plans.  Chad and Dawn, thanks for teaching me the meaning of "Minnesota nice".  You two were the best beach company a gal could have asked for!  And I look forward to seeing both of you very soon!  Richie and Laura, you guys are the cutest couple and I am glad we got a chance to see each other when we made it back stateside and hopefully Ill be seeing more of you soon.  Ill stick up for you guys anytime!  Paulie, its funny I have gotten to know you better since we got back then I did on the trip but, just a word of cautionary advice: Dont kiss drunk girls on piers.  Ha! Ha!  No hard feelings, pal!  Mikey, whats left to say?  You cant win em all!  Susie and Kim, our wild ones from PA way, you guys definitely made the trip more interesting!  John and Carol, I hope to see you two in July, and thanks for the EGE coordination!  Dan and Kim, sorry I missed the wedding.  Best of luck on your new lives together!  See you on the flip side, Megs
