2 of us for trip number 2 part Fluff & part Nuts

February 27 March 5, 2005

It seems like each year I have certain things I want to do when I get backall of which usually turn into sand just as I do once I am there!  Here are some notes from this years journey into the land of sun, fun and wonderful people.

We arrived from a delayed AJ flight on Sunday afternoon.  Immigration added some time, but wasnt bad.  Soon after checking in at the SuperClubs room (small bottles of water are free to guests there), we boarded a bus full of only Hedo II guests.  Check in at the resort was slightly delayed as there were so many guests arriving at the same time.

We booked run of house and ended up with a garden view nude room in a great location.  The new shower area was very nice and we had hot water all week, though the water does tend to get on the floor by the stall, which makes it slippery.  There were painters painting the outside stucco all week, pretty amazing how they balance on the window ledgesmakes you wonder what they are seeing

After attending the Fluffernutter cock n tail party for a short time, we headed to the nude side pretty antsy to be in the pool as the weather was a bit warmer than we remembered and we were travel tired.  That evening we ate our first plate of Roberts Jerk chicken (YUM!) and spent some time soaking in the hot tub.  The rest of the week was spent in the nude beach area (where Delroy, Robert, the ECs & Augustus made for memorable times) followed by the main dining area, piano bar and disco.  We did get a chance to eat at Pastafari and highly recommend it to others as both service and food was wonderful.

The main dining areas food is better than it was last year with sauted shrimp and a very light tasting cheesecake being my favorites.  It is still buffet-style, so the earlier you get there the better.  Purple rain, mudslides and sex on the beach were just a few of the drinks for the week and they seemed to be made a bit stronger in the main dining area than last years versions. Friday nights main stage circus entertainment was a favorite with a contortionist (who bend himself in ways no one should be able to do) and very talented balancing acts.  The food that night was doubled with many different side areas and new items including lobster (that is banned from being cooked at Roberts Grill) and sushi.  The battle of the sexes that was part of the beach party that night was also great to watch.

The piano bar is different since the non-smoking change.  People do hang around outside and inside by the doors more versus last year.  The disco was pretty busy all week, usually around midnight until about 2 am.  PJ & Toga nights were packed.

The dock area is a nice place to visit at night as it has a number of different fish and rays that can be seen we saw several eagle (brown spotted) rays, opaque jelly fish, pencil/trumpet fish among others.

For those curious about the guidelines we didnt see/hear anything about them during our stay.  There were daily pdas around the nude area and on the platforms.  A few day pass visitors were stopped and turned back when they didnt take off their swimsuits as they went up to the nude grill security walked them out.  The nighttime main stage entertainment did appear to be toned down compared to last year.  There were no sexual position activities noticed during the battle of the sexes competition on Tuesday though they did keep the fake orgasm part.

Just a quick note for those who arent familiar with the beach/ocean area.  We saw many people walking into the ocean without water shoes or sandals either wear them or use a float to get out into the water as there are sea urchins in that area.  One person was stung as she stepped down from one of the platforms.  We warned others as we saw quite a few urchins on the ocean floor, both off-white & black ones.

Now is the hard part waiting a whole year to go back!
