Kevin & Hazel - October, 2005
We travelled to
Hedonism II from October 9 to 16, 2005; this was our 2nd trip, our first trip
was October of 2002.
Travelling non
stop via Air Canada from Toronto to Montego Bay was uneventful (it was nice to
not have to stop in the U.S. and take off our shoes and relinquish lighters
and manicure sets). We will travel non stop this way from now on; live
and learn.
The weather was
great. I don't remember a day when I couldn't find the sun at all. I don't
know what people are complaining about.
The room
overlooked the Prude Beach, even though it was a Nude Garden View room and it
was great.
The food was
great too. We tend to look for local fare and don't eat hamburgers and French
fries. We were too late for "a" lobster on Friday
night. Friends of ours that were at Hedo that week too said they got to the
diningroom early and ate 6 lobsters each. No wonder we didn't get a lobster.
What is it about people at seafood buffets and they try to break the
restaurant by being pigs?
We enjoy but do
not participate in the antics of the Swingers or Lifestylers or whatever they
call themselves. They are a hoot. I couldn't really determine but I really do
hope you Swingers practice safe sex. A friend of mine contracted HIV in the
past year so it's still out there.
It was difficult
to meet people at Hedo for us, which I know most people reading this will find
shocking but I was kind of afraid I would have to have relations or explain
why I didn't want to have relations with anyone I spoke to. My problem, I'm
sure.
I'm sorry, but I
don't get the slut wear but it was entertaining even though most of the women
shoulda, coulda, woulda covered up more. It's a beach resort not a skanky
nightclub. I don't have enough opportunity to wear my beachwear so that was my
wardrobe for the week.
We are not
totally committed to the nude side of the resort so we had the opportunity of
using the good beach (prude) and being in a pool (prude) that was completely
empty except for us. I am glad that we don't have the prude prejudice. It
makes the vacation a little more versatile!
We travel every winter to a different place but
it's certainly a memorable and different vacation. Worth the show.
We will probably
go back to Hedo in another few years. Destinations in other countries are less
expensive, better food and hotels and beaches and the locals are a little more
appreciative of our presence. You should get to Cuba, all they talk about are
Americans and are quite disappointed that we are Canadians. You would be
treated like Kings. No clothing optional and certainly no ganja. What a
difference 100 km makes!
