I got back from H2 last Monday (05/03/14) after 7 days of fun as a single gal. I've never tried H2 before and the information I got on this site made my trip more enjoyable (thanks to everyone).
I would suggest to any newbie to register on the "visitor schedules" (on this site) at least one month before leaving. It makes things easer to start with at H2 as you can get to know some folks before getting there.
Many question on this site are related to the "expectation" most of us (the newbies) have about H2. There's one thing so nice about H2, things just happen without any planning. It just does unless you're not up for that. GO WITH THE FLOW ... ya man ...
LADIES... GO FOR IT ! I got involved in some of the H2 day-time activities and it made me meet many couples. Every one I've talked to were very nice. I've talked to singles (men). They were ALL very nice to, forget about the "wallies and/or vinnies" !!
Make your vacation fun ! I brought my own body painting and share it with others. We had a lot of fun. I've seen water-guns, sexy dices and many more. Those little extras made the time go so fast... It makes you feel 10years old again.
As for the food, I was great in the main dinning room and in the Italian restaurant (Pastafari). I HATED the food in the Japanese restaurant, much to salty and oily.
I didn't get to go to the piano bar because the resort was almost empty and I was either closed or empty. The good thing about a empty resort is that whatever your feel like doing, don't bother, you can go on the spot.
