Hedo II Trip Report Jan 1-8

Well, we finally made it to Hedo after 4 longs years and it was everything we were expecting and more.much more!  How to explain a week of pure bliss, total comfort and relaxation, being with great friends and meeting so many nice, warm people?  A week of re-connecting with your other half that brought me to tears on our last night there!

We left from Toronto late Jan 1 afternoon and after an uneventful 4 hour plane ride, customs, the bus ride in the dark, we finally got to Hedo around 11:00 that night.  Check in was a breeze and 15 minutes later, we were walking the beach, trying to get in some of the sights and sounds of Hedo.  We walked all around for about an hour and finally made our way to the piano bar for a drink.  We were sipping our drinks, listening to the fun when we felt someone grab our bums!  Thinking that things couldnt be happening that fast, we turned around and imagine our surprise to see our best friends from home.  They had booked their trip after hearing we had booked ours and didnt tell us at the time.  We had even lamented that we wish we could be going together as we had talked about this for years.  Well, they pulled the wool right over our eyes and after much yelling and hugging, we sat down for our first drink together at Hedo and the start of what was to be a glorious week.

Even though we were very tired from traveling, we were persuaded to make our way to the Nude hottub.  No problems disrobing and jumping in (kind of jumping in, gotta watch that huge first step!) and before long hubby and I are putting on our first Hedo exhibitionif I can get this relaxed with just one drink, wonder what the rest of the week will bring?

Finally make our way to bed about 3 in the morning and are up fairly early, very excited to see the resort in the daylight and start getting some rays.  Breakfast and then the nude beach, Denis has staked out 4 chairs on the point and we relax with our books, drinks and 30 sunscreen (well, 30 for me, 4 for Denis who is much darker than I am to begin with).  Our friends join us a few minutes later and we begin what will be our pattern for the week a little drinking, a little ganja for the guys, a little reading, a little floating on the rafts with some light playing (must be the sun which makes me so horny!), lunch at Roberts (those fries! They are their own food group!), a little nap in the afternoon on those comfortable loungers, more drinking, reading, playing  (jerk chicken at 5, yum, yum) and so it goes until showers and dinner and hottubbing in the evening.

A little side note about the food wasnt sure what to expect after following the posts, but we found the food to range from good to great.  Weve been to Mexico and Cuba and the food at Hedo beat those places hands down.  We really enjoyed Munasan and the Grand Buffet on Friday, but most meals were very enjoyable, the staff is very warm and efficient, lots of choices and variety from day to day and meal to meal.  Loved the smoked salmon at breakfast and hubby ate 5 lobster tails on Friday night!  All in all, no complaints in this department.

The week passed in a haze of sunshine, relaxation, great sex (on the rafts, in the grotto, in the hottub and even on the mattress outside the disco late on PJ nite!), laughing, and making new friends from all over, Russia, Italy, England, Canada and the States, of course.

Highlights..mirrors on the ceiling in the rooms (never knew we looked so good!), the clothing-optional Cat cruise on Tuesday morning, the show on the beach put on by 3 Italian couples on Wednesday afternoon (which hubby missed too bad, but we told him all about it), Toga night and Denis winning a bottle of rum for his Mr. Canada toga, Battle of the Sexes (I almost won the fake Orgasm contest), meeting Eric and Cyndi from Lifestyles, Man in Motion (Denis put in a respectable showing), dinner at Munasan on Wednesday with old and new friends, the Grand Buffet on Friday night.  Best for us was sharing this week with our friends from North Bay.

Friday night was so special for us our last night there, and the dcor, meal, ambiance, dinner show and entertainment were top notch.  Watching the steel drum band during dinner brought tears to my eyes and I was soon crying like a baby from the sheer happiness of such a wonderful week.  Thank you everyone at Hedo who made our first time there such a success from our friends, old and new, to the staff, the ECs (boy, do those people have energy they work so hard to entertain and make sure everyone is having a great time) and especially to my husband of 23 years, Denis.  I am more in love with you than ever and will treasure these memories for a lifetime.

We hope to be back sometime in the late fall just cant wait a whole year to go back home.  To anyone who reads these reports wondering if they should go to Hedo, I (we) say YES, YES, YES.go in the spirit of this magical place and you will not be disappointed.
