Bill & Trish - July, 2005

Initial Impressions:

Mr.      I thought I had made a mistake early on. The bus ride was miserable. We had been to H3 twice and wanted to try H2, and try a lifestyle week at the same time. Although we are not in the lifestyle we had heard that it would be more fun to go with them. We had no problem with this because we were usually the trouble makers at H3 and thought we would fit right in with this group. The bus was very hot, stuffy, and cramped. We were packed in there with two very strange couples from the other side of the planet, and they had very poor personal hygiene. The fist hour of walking around the resort we were unable to find anyone within a decade or more of our age. I was concerned that we were just too young to fit in with the group and would have to spend the week by ourselves.

Mrs.    The flight was delayed for an hour or more but no problem mon! Things started looking grim on the bus ride over. Concern, regret, and discomfort washed over my husbands face. On our stop at the local watering hole he moved to the co-pilot seat on the bus to get some fresh air leaving me in the back with the strange couples who now think were odd or having marital problems! We arrived at the property and found it similar to H3.

Settling In:

Mr.      Within a few hours I started to meet some of the people in the nude pool. We had a great conversation with a seasoned lifestyler. He was very articulate and helped us better understand the lifestyle group why they enjoy it, what they get out of it, signs to look for, and how to interact with them; all in an educational and non-threatening way. He and his wife were a great source of information through the week. We enjoyed the Lifestyle group and will probably join them again. Although we are unwilling to participate in a swap some doors were opened this week that we hadnt considered before.

Mrs.    Within the first 24 to 48 hours we participated in a number of key events that sat the stage for a fantastic vacation. First we witnessed a blur of activity in the grotto within hours of our arrival. 4 couples were inside, enjoying themselves oblivious to the rest of the afternoon pool crowd. As soon as a spot became vacant we immediately jumped in! Which is what I recommend for anyone, dont just walk around and watch or wander if you can enjoy yourself get involved right away! Second, we began to form key friendships that formed the basis for fun activities and dining entertainment. Its always more fun to have a group you enjoy being around. Third, as the Mr. explained earlier, we met a lifestyler who helped us better understand the group as a whole

Activities:

Mr.      There were not as many activities here as there were at H3 but that may have been due to it being a lifestyle week or it may have been that so many of the guest had been going there for many years and the staff were not able to get much participation. Once we had made some friends we came up with our own games such as find your mate or mooning the disco. If you swim to the bottom of the prude pool you can see through a large window into the disco bar. We laughed until we cried mooning the guest in the bar and performing all kinds of nude underwater sexual positions for them.

Mrs.    We booked the Catamaran Cruise and convinced our new friends to do the same. This was the second full day of our vacation and a great way to cement our new friendships and get us more involved with a group vs. just keeping to ourselves. We highly recommend the cruise, just bring a camera and a few dollars (they charge $2.00 to climb up the side of a cliff and jump off). The cruise also features nude snorkeling (quite liberating). Bring some bread in a zip lock bag for the fish.

Action:

Mr.      We saw many PDAs, way more than we ever saw at H3 but we were never there on a lifestyle week. Unlike our experience at H3, PDAs were no problem day or night. Although there were many single guys, we didnt have near the problem with them that we did at H3.

Mrs.    I was a little apprehensive about going during a lifestyle week. Even though weve been the H3 twice, neither was during a takeover. While we enjoyed H3 and made great friends there, in general, the group tended to be younger and oddly less comfortable with PDAs than the more mature lifestylers at H2. I have to say our talk with a veteran lifestyler early in the trip put me more at ease. Everyone is VERY respectful and no really does mean no. You can say no to a certain activity and still have a great time hanging out with them. The overall atmosphere was more sexually charged than H3, especially during the daylight hours. Not knowing anything about the lifestyle, one of our surprises was that I found many of the couples to include women who were bi-sexual thus we saw much more girl/girl flirting or activity than we ever saw at H3. Ladies if you are new to this be prepared to be hit on by other women perhaps more so than by men. Take it as a compliment and if you dont want to go there just say so. Of all the displays that we witnessed one I havent tried yet but want to is achieving orgasm over the fountain in the nude wading pool.

Closing:

Mrs.    Even though we are not in the lifestyle we truly enjoyed the trip, felt comfortable and safe, while we appreciated and participated in the sexually charged atmosphere. I would not recommend going during a takeover week if you are not in the lifestyle and have never been to a Hedo property. Regardless, as long as you and your spouse have boundaries and good communication skills youre in for the time of your life! Oh yeah dont leave H2 with out performing for the disco bar. It is a blast to hear them screaming and see the camera flashes.
