We were
at Hedo 2 from Feb 13-20 and I have to say that it was better than I imagined.
Firstly, the rooms which I had often seen criticised by posters on the board,
were clean, tidy and a decent size. We had a few leaks in the shower but
they would eventually clear it up. The beds were large and my wife loved the
mirrors on the ceilings, I was a fan too. The grounds were beautiful,
really romantic and the whole resort was generally very well maintained.
We were lucky because the weather was outstanding for the week we were there and
we both got great tans.
We were on the beach everyday, but stayed on the small prude beach which
bordered Sandals. The nude beach was too busy for our liking, so I was
nude on the prude side while the wife wore a thong. Ocassionally I'd get
spoken to by a security guard, but in the main I was left to be au naturalle in
peace. The funny thing about being where we were on the beach, was
seeing the hordes of people coming from Sandals to walk past us and go towards
the nude beach, I didn't notice too many people from Hedo going to Sandals.
The atmosphere in Hedo is what makes it special and I speak as someone who
leaves British shores for exotic occasions at least twice a year. I had
the feeling that it was a place where couples were truly free to enjoy their
desire for each other, in whatever way they wanted to. We are not
lifestylers and there seemed to be more swingers there than I had anticipated,
everybody I spoke to seemed to have indulged in some form, but the people we met
were great and we met more nice people than we ever have at the myriad other
resorts we have been too in the past.
The food was also better than had been described, in my opinion. It wasn't
the best I had ever eaten, but it was by no means the worst and there were
enough restaurants to give you options for your evening meal.
We kept hearing about the nude beach hottub and the after midnight antics, so on
our last night we went there. It was definitely busy and there was
definitely lots going on, but its not everyones cup of tea and it didn't do much
for me personally.
I enjoyed seeing my wife wear clothes that she couldn't wear elsewhere, I
enjoyed her not wearing panties for the whole week and playing pool and table
tennis with her, while she was wearing itty bitty skirts. Hedo 2 was great
and I am hoping very much to go back next year.
