where to begin??? After being there 17 times and 15 days this past trip, i
will have to deal with the things that i remembered most, afterall some days
seem to intertwine with others..
First of all, let me say that this has been the best trip that ive had in
years, well here goes..
Customs was VERY different this trip , it took me almost an hour to
clear , they asked if you have any gifts or packages for people down
here???Stated NO, then i moved on, new immigration forms are a trip, good luck
filling them out.
The resort looked the same, didnt substain much damage from the
hurricane, except ALOT of foliage was missing, they are in the re-building
process which looks like it is comming along well.
The food was FANTASIC!! with the new chef there and all, he
actually went around asking the people what they thought of the food, requesting
their comments,he does a great job!!
The rooms were all made over, it was GREAT having
the same room year after year, i know how to get there!!LOL!! The showers
are fabulous , its GREAT for one person, but having two people in there at the
same time can be VERY cramped, especially with the jets shooting EVERYWHERE!!,
but i dealt with it..Hooked up my portable dvd player to the tv, that was a nice
touch.. Having 8 people in my room at once watching looney tunes was a
trip!! also brought down video games, which was also great!! The ac worked
wonderful!!!
My room was like an icebox!!! I actually had to shut off the
ac one night, i slept on top of the comforter that night!!
The people were GREAT, met up with old friends, and made
plenty of new ones..Especially Mortin from norway, your my hero, Tim from NY,
and Dale from deleware..Also was a surprise appeareance from Jennifer from NJ ,
was GREAT seeing you again...Dinner with you at alfreads was great!!!
well its almost time for me to go, until next year,
looking to go back last week of march, first week of april, got a GREAT deal on
the rates..
But b4 i go, i must leave people with things..
To my hedo brothers, I LEAVE.....
To Jack.. I leave.. you were right!!! i also
leave the snake cake, and a mampi!!LOL!!
To Jamie.. I leave KING OF THE GROTO!!!! give
someone else a chance there!!! GEEZE!!!!
To Tim.. I leave you... young
frankenstein.. the movie..
To Art.. i leave you.. hey buddy..
its not buddy, my name is Rodger!!
To Bill.. I leave the
waterballoon slingshot and the boats!!!
To Lucille, a woman that
every man can love i leave you the
rose amongst the thorns..
To Krissie the waterslide girl
i leave many beautiful sunstes floating on the raft, and the green flash was
also fabulous!!
To Rodger. i
leave.... countless PENNIES!!!
To Becky, i
leave a flight to FLA, when NY gets cold!!
And last but not least.. to that one special person... you know who you are i
leave ...the beach chair at night looking up at the stars looking at the little
dipper , and Vanhelsing the movie...Miss you.
