Bob & Stef - August, 2004
8/21-8/28
About every couple of years Bob and I decide to
take a nice week long vacation without the kids to somewhere special. We
have a beach house so we are there all the time but we are always with the
kids or their friends or our parents so for this trip we wanted somewhere to
go without kids. That being said, Bob left me to decide where to go and
what kind of vacation we would have. We had been on a cruise to Alaska a
couple years back and didn't want to cruise again. The idea of an
all-inclusive trip sounded great. We had been to a travel agent night on
Sandals and while the resort looked spectacular, we just didnt' feel it was
for us.
Bob is a contractor and goes by the nickname
of Bubba and wearing a suit and tie on the beach just isn't his thing.
We are not "swingers" or "in the lifestyle"
but the more I read on the superclubs website about the sexual energy the more
intruiged I became. Anyway, I can already tell this is going to be long
so I will hurry....anyway, I called Superclubs and made our reservations and
held my breath until I called Bubba and said "we are going to Hedo". I
thought he would drop the phone. He was excited but didnt' know what to
expect from me as far as if I would go naked, try experiementing, or
whatever. I am overweight and the thought of people seeing me letting it all
hang out was freaky but oh well, I survived. We set two ground rules
before we left and other than that just decided to have a great time and let
our hair down. The closer Saturday came the more freaked out I became. I
didnt' think I could take my clothes off in public, I didnt' know if I could
talk to naked strangers, and I didnt' know if I could be so openly sexual with
my husband. Wow, what a difference a day makes. I will say that if
you are not in a secure relationship wiht your spouse, then Hedo is not the
place for you. Jealousy is not a good thing when there are naked people
rubbing against your spouse....hehe.
Saturday came and we were on our way. We
flew US Air direct from Charlotte and the flight was fine. The line from
customs was a little long but we were on vacation and I wasn't going to let
any little thing get me down. We went to the Super Clubs and were wisked
away to our bus. Oh My Goodness!!!! I felt like I would die my
first day and they say the road is better...oh well we get to the resort and
my tension is rising. We check in and were given a great room
2155 on the garden view nude and so convenient to everything. I am
getting ready to have back surgery so any excess stairs or walking isn't a
pleasant experience. Our room was excellent and I loved the mirror.....I
wish I had a way to explain a ceiling mirror to the kids but oh well we just
have to go back. Anyway, we decide to roam around and I keep telling
Bubba that we have to just stay on the prude side for a while until I get my
nerve up so he is fine with that and we go for a walk. We got a drink
and had a grilled ham and cheese and go check out the prude pool.....noone
spoke, noone looked at us and we felt really alone and wierd so I told Bob we
would check out the nude side.....well i just put my coverup on wiht nothing
underneath and we wonder over there.....we got as far as where you can see
that far platform and we saw 3 couples having sex on it and the sandals boat
going by cheering them on and let me tel you I freaked out......My husband is
wonderful and can immediately tell when I am about to come out of my skin so
he says we will go unpack and just let it all sink in. We go to the room
and take advantage of the mirror...woohoo and we unpack and he calms me down
and we have fun wiht the mirror again.....by this time its time for this jerk
chicken i have heard so much about and I am determinded to make the most of
this trip, to not let anything freak me out and to just have fun...so off we
go back to the nude pool area. We took the big mugs everyone told
us to take and I had written our names on them and after oh about a minute of
being in the pool wiht a dirty banana someone kept saying "it says Bob
and Stef...wonder if they are the ones from the computer"...so I say yeah and
boom instant frienship. They introduce us to two more couples and for
the next 6 days the 8 of us are instant friends. I could not have asked
for better friends and already miss them terribly.
I will just hit some of the highlights now since I
am so longwinded already. We took the snorkel boat out a couple times
and it was GREAT. We both love to snorkel so we had a great time.
We took a cab ride from hell to the falls that was not set through the
resort........DO NOT DO THAT!!!! Arrange everything through Hedo
Desk.....we were lucky to make it back alive and were scared for 5 hours out
of our day...not a good experience....then we find out he wasn't even a real
cab driver.
We did the c/o catamaran with our friends and had
such a great time and met some new friends who we became close too as well.
We can't wait to see you guys in Florida if you are reading this:-). Bob
did the rock climbing and the flying trapeze...he is such a kid....he had such
a good time flying through the air. We also went to Margarettaville with
3 of our friends oh and let me say.....don't be afraid to be friends with the
single men.....they aren't all creepy, right Steve???:-) Bob also
learned to scuba dive and did the class and pool instruction one morning and
the ocean dive the next morning....I would have worried myself silly if it
weren't for my friends keeping me company at the nude pool. We went to a
birthday party....Happy Birthday Eric and Tara, and watched a private magic
show....Elmo you are the man. We did Toga night and I was eating dinner
and looked down and my toga top had come off and there I was with my boobs on
the table.....oh well....only at Hedo. We did the waterslide naked and
what a rush....I felt like I was 7......it was so fun and so fast.
We made some great friends, had good times,
and most importantly reconnected with eachother. Bob is a contractor and
my time with him is limited so I felt like I was in heaven not having to share
him with clients and phones and the chores of the day. We made love more
times last week than in two months at home and fell in love again. We
kept our two rules we had set and learned that people in the lifestyle are
very respectful and we have made some wonderful friends. We already have the
DIF sooo bad and I had to go to the ABC store to buy dirty banana ingredients
and other stuff for my new drinks.....which brings me to something
else.....BUY RUM CREME IN JAMAICA.....our ABC store doesn't have it.....I
wanted to buy it at the airport and Bob said it would be better to buy it here
and boy was he wrong......its "no problem mon" we can just go back next
year.......thanks to everyone on this site who answered questions and Denny
you are definitely handling our next trip. Your site has been a wonderful
thing. We can't wait to go back and Howard, Pat, Michelle, Bruce, Tim,
Misch, Marty, Vickie, Steve, and all the other ones I am forgetting to name,
we can't wait to see you again.....we love ya!!!!
A few things we learned:
1. Take three quarters of your clothes out
of the suitcases....we checked two suitcases and had two carryons....we could
have just done the carryons.
2. Take water shoes....Thanks Eric for that
tip.
3. Take drink mugs.
4. Don't take the float.
5. Don't take large engagement ring.
6. Tell blue taxi man "you've got it
covered" they dont' care that you dont' do drugs and its a waste of time
to argue with them.
7. Make love on the beach.....its amazing.
8. Make love on those hidden tables in "the
jungle"
9. Take the clothes off already, it doesn't
matter how you think you look......the best thing I learned.....I am
beautiful!
