Hedo II: Feb 3-10, 2002
Usually when I go on vacation I keep a journal so that later I can remember all of the fun things I did and people that I met. Well, this time on my virgin trip to Hedo, I got so far behind that I gave up. By day three I had not even finished writing about my TimAir flight to GNAT. (worth the money over riding the bus). So, I have to steal David Letterman's Top Ten List idea. Since he is a fellow Hoosier, I am hoping that he won't mind.
This is MY top ten list of best moments at Hedo.
10. Floating on a raft in the ocean
9. My first cup of coffee in the morning. Best coffee that I have ever tasted!
8. David's sing along in Veronica's piano bar. What fun!
7. Steve singing "Cherry Bomb" for me on Talent Show night. (Mellencamp fans forever!)
6. The nude hot tub after midnight; need I say more?
5. Eating jerk chicken with Shawn at the nude beach
4. Dancing with Shawn
3. Getting a massage on the beach
2. Sitting and relaxing at the nude pool talking to all of my new friends
1. Being more relaxed than I have been in my entire life!!!
This was the most fantastic vacation that I have ever taken and I definitely will be back. I have very few complaints about anything. I went as part of the yahoo singles group and I wish we could have had some group activities; maybe next time! The staff was great, the food was great and the week went by way too fast. Next time I hope to take part in more of the organized activities. I found it way too easy to just relax and veg out all day on the nude side. But isn't that what vacations are for!
