Trip #8 - Rich &
Florangel
November 3rd - November 10th, 2002.
Well, it was a great trip for both of us. I won't bore anyone with all of
the details of the airport and blah, blah, blah and I'll get right into it.
As my last report this report will not be organized and I'll just type as I
remember stuff. Got to Hedo pretty quick, took the bus ride with the new
rode and it only took 1 hour and 10 minutes with a ten minute red stripe stop
and saw all the new improvements. Everything looked nice and the only
thing I noticed was that the food was a little worse than usual...but as my good
buddy Tonyinajacuzzi from Labor Day says at Hedo "it's all good"...so you have
to keep that attitude. Well, as usual, we met a great bunch of people on
this trip....pretty much did nothing but drink and smoke and um other stuff as
always...and that about sums it up, kids!!!
Just thought I'd send a quick shot out to all the people that made Rich &
Florangel's trip that much more special and touched us in your own special way.
People say I tend to refer to myself in the third person, is that the way they
say it? Other people such as my lovely wife Florangelita (Baby) also say
that I speak in code. Well, we went and stayed an extra day on Saturday
night and then when we took off about 7 p.m. Sunday night on our way back home
our plane was diverted back to Sangster because of "a problem" with the
airconditioning. Needless to say the flight didn't take off until about 1
a.m. on Monday morning and we didn't get back to NJ until about 6 a.m. or so.
So next time you kids want to stay an extra day don't do it!! Just
kidding: I'd do it again.

Christina from N.C.; Duane and Dee-Dee from Long Island, NY; The TaiChi
couple...sorry we never got to take your class and they also got stuck with us
and took Duane & Dee-Dee's seats on the stranded flight so we took theirs; Amy
from Rhode Island; Mario & Nicole from Fort Lauderdale; we saw Gavin & Sally
from England that we met in August of 2000; Harrold & Martin from England;
Bob and Carol from previous trips; Jesse from I forget where but she was always
with NudeMike; Scott & Kathy from Tennessee? I'll always remember Scott,
Kathy, Rich, Florangel, Scott, Kathy, Rich, Florangel; Tom from Long Island,
Kevin from Brooklyn I think, Steve from Long Island and who can forget, my
favorite, George Carlin and his wife from NJ in cognito as Peter and
Nancy...that's a story I'll treasure forever and everyone else that I'm
forgetting, we had a blast!!! Until next year. We'll see you guys
"in about a minute." Thanks, kids!!!!!
