Nevil & Kristen

I want to thank everyone that exchanged emails with me prior to leaving. We changed from Hedo 3 to Hedo 2- 10 days before leaving because of the Exoticnites group that was going to Hedo 3 at the same time. Everyone was great welcoming us with so little time left to go. I want to thank Robert from First Travel In Las Vegas for taking the time and effort to make sure we were secured into Hedo 2 and even though the resort was pretty much full and it went off without a hitch.

We took American from San Francisco and everything was perfect. Both legs were ahead of time. We cant complain. We took Tim Air and Nevil was petrified. I was too excited and sweaty to really concern myself with the terror of my very first Cessna ride. We rode with hedo vets and they really helped getting us on the van and through the front doors of hedo. This can be a feat when your tired and nervous and excited. Everything went very smooth.

We rolled in at the same time as a bus and there was a lot of confusion and people milling around. It took about 20 minutes to get the forms then we were told to go eat lunch and come back. We came back in a about a half hour and got room 1116. This was prude ocean view, which was nice. We booked run of the house.

Nothing to write home about but clean non the less. It was impossible to get ready for dinner at the same time. And you leave the closet door open its next to impossible to get into the bathroom. I had many bruises on my hips to prove that one. I loved having coffee in the room and aside from the beach party the room was very quite and peaceful.

I have to be honest that until we some drinks in us we were really disappointed in the facilities. Even the new improvements I though were done with poor workmanship. The furniture in the main dining room is very tired and dirty.

This was our maiden voyage. We got to the nude beach in the afternoon and after scouting out 2 loungers we stripped. Nevil was a champ and had no problem. I took longer and felt self conscious. O.K so now who was going to get drinks? . We spent all our time at the nude pool but everyday it seemed like the first day to me. Nevil did really great, he also has a perfect body.

We had an awesome time. We drank, ate, danced, swam, snorkeled, tanned, drank, drank, ate, laughed, danced, drank and drank. Yes, I got very sick (too much tequila and the flu) and it didn't even slow me down (well just a little bit). We had a great time and met the best people.

P.J night was my favorite hands down. The outfits were great and participation was high. The disco was really hopping.It was a great night. Toga was great also. We won best couple and at one point during the congo line I had this moment where I looked at Nevil and said this is "F**KING AWESOME" It felt great to be such a kid. We had big smiles and I felt light and full of life. I know this sounds hokey but feeling liberated and childlike even ifs just for a moment is priceless. Its like the MasterCard commercial. Moment at hedo feeling free "priceless"

A kiss to all the great people we met. You are what made this trip awesome. Tammy and Duane, Dan, Ross and Wendy, Steve and Kathy, Tammy and Duane's friends from Nebraska, Gary and Susan, Brian and Anne. Sorry we didn't have more time Mitch and Bobbie. There were soooo many more and I don't remember theirs names. I just remember color of hair or home town or whatever. It doesn't matter. If we shared a smile or a story or a laugh or a hug you made my vacation.

It was definalty the best week. We learned things about ourselves and others. We will return and next time will be better and we will know what to expect. About half way through Nevil says to me I hate this place Ill never come back. Guess who after it all over was the first to say he wanted to go back?. It took a whole 2 days at home. I know we both had some trouble with the late nigh PDA's and feeling uncomfortable and the intense vinnies scared us off. The first night a vinnie asked Nevil if he could f**k me and I though Nevil was going to freak.But the good out weighed the bad if the vinnie action was too much we just went to our room. If you don't take it too seriously its not a big deal. The beauty of Hedo was that its "to each his own" and if you give space to someone for being themselves they in turn give you the space to be yourself.

The food was fine. Lobster was bueno!!!. Weather was perfect. Never made it to breakfast, but heard it was good. Music was ok in the disco and some people complained it was too loud. Didn't bother me .The dj did take some of my requests. We didn't do anything outside the resort so I cant comment. The waterslide was a blast. I loved the changing colors of lights in the plunge pools The pool tables were covered in astro turf??? I didnt quite get the prude bars pool. It was freezing and uninviting. We loved the calm of the negril water and took long walks down the beach. Well that about sums it all up.
