Ken & Chris - March, 2002

Chris & Ken - March 20, 2002

This was our 4th trip to Hedo II and thanks to the taping of the Jerry Springer show our worst trip ever! These freaks proceeded to hide in the bushes, constantly tried to film/photograph people, were very confrontational and acted in a very intimidating and obnoxious manner. All the people we met this year were very upset about the presence and actions of the Springer group. Even our friends from the Lifestyle group, who are very liberal-minded and easy-going, were angry. We cannot believe that the SuperClubs organization would even entertain the idea of having a television talk show of this low caliber on their resort. It did nothing but cause problems. We were always looking over our shoulders to see who was sneaking around with cameras or tape recorders. It gave us all a taste of how movie stars must feel when the paparazzi are stalking them. We completely agree with John and Renee's trip report. We hope others who were there will voice their displeasure as we are told the management of SuperClubs resorts reads this web site to gain feedback. Perhaps when they read these comments they'll reconsider their position of having these groups come to the resort and ruin the vacations of paying guests. We heard numerous first-time visitors say they would never come back because of what went on and that's a real shame, not to mention a loss to the resort.

On the positive side, we met a lot of great new people and had a few laughs. As always, Dave in the Piano Bar was great. He tried so hard to keep the peace when the Springer group "invaded". Delroy and Scumba were also terrific at the nude pool/swim-up bar - always service with a smile. That couple from the U.K. were great fun - it's just too bad he didn't sing more! The Sheriff from Alabama and his beautiful wife were also fun to be with, as were so many other couples too numerous to mention, but then you all know who you are. The two huge football guys, James and Jerry, had a great sense of humor and contributed immensely to everyone's fun. They were also great peace keepers with some of the "Springers". You really can't help but meet a lot of nice people at Hedo II. The dining room staff were great, as was the food. Lobster night was fantastic - there were plenty of lobsters to go around. That's a must to attend! We tried the Japanese restaurant and it was great - lots of good food prepared right at your table. Marlin will definitely keep you entertained. It's a lot of fun when you get a group together. Pastafari, as usual, was terrific. That's also a must to attend. Denva will take good care of you. It's a nice change of pace, very intimate with service at your table. The wine is wonderful and the food is excellent. As always, Robert's grill on the nude was a hit. Everything he prepares is good but there's something about those french fries that keeps people coming back for more. The jerk chicken at 6:00 p.m. is a must! Of course, Robert makes it all special. The beach was clean, as usual, and the weather was perfect. The nude hot tub/pool area was also kept very clean and there was no shortage of towels either. The grounds are well-maintained and the lush, tropical growth is unbelievably beautiful.

It was very unfortunate the Springer group was present during our vacation. It just wasn't the same relaxed, happy, safe and secure atmosphere we've become accustomed to. It really ruined things for us. We were told the presence of the Springer group was put on the web site three weeks prior to their arrival but unfortunately that was too late for us - we'd already booked our vacation and were unable to change our plans. If we had known in advance we NEVER would have gone when we did. We strongly recommend that if anyone is going to Hedo II you check very carefully to ensure no television talk shows are going to be present during your stay because it will definitely affect your vacation, not to mention your peace of mind.
