This was our second trip to Hedo, the first was with the
www group in December 2000. We
had planned to go back with the www group this past December but we could not
make it so we booked the second week in January instead.
What a difference! It was
almost like being at a different resort.
I will explain more on that later in this trip report.
Plane ride to Montego Bay was uneventful, except for my
being searched TWICE. First in
Detroit, then again in Memphis. I
was told that I fit the profilepretty funny!
Long wait (30-40 minutes) for Tim Air to take us to Negril (they were
very busy). When we walked up to
the desk at Hedo I was prepared to hear have a drink and come back mon,
Surprise! - we were handed room keys.
Slight problem, we booked and paid for nude/garden and were given
a room in prude/ocean. The resort was all sold out so calling our travel agent would
not have helped; we decided to make the best of it. The whole resort ended up being nude all week so walking to
and from the room nekkid was not a problem, just a long walk.
Sunday was my birthday (its midnight somewhere) and
what a day it ended up being! Thanks
Joe for my present J
(what a great raft) and thanks Cindy for sending the bottle of wine to the
guys at Pastafaris (and Tom led me to believe you were shy!).
I learned a great deal from both of you about going after what you want
and making things happen.
Most of the days sort of blend together, so I wont
even try to remember any other specifics on a particular day. Our daily routine was pretty much wake up, breakfast, float
in the ocean, lunch, hang out in the pool, jerk chicken/hot tub, dinner,
Veronicas, disco, hot tub. Its
amazing how delicious Roberts grilled cheese with turkey and French fries
really are. Add some jerk sauce
and it is definitely the best meal at Hedo!
Of course life just doesnt get much better then watching the sunset
on the beach and then eating jerk chicken in the hot tub.
Most nights we ate dinner at Pastafaris and the food was good.
The Scotch Bonnett re-opened and the food there was very ok.
The Japanese restaurant is excellent just make sure to call or be
at the tour desk when they open at 9 am to get a reservation.
Construction is nearly complete and the resort is
beautiful (on the prude side). The
waterslide is a lot of fun and you can now watch people go down the slide from
the glass window on the side of the disco.
The spa/gym will be very nice when finished with all new equipment.
The ice skating rink (with artificial surface), mini golf and rock
climbing wall were all complete, but not yet functional.
The disco is pretty much the same, a bit larger maybe since the side
walls extend out some. The music
was not bad. The D.J. would
usually play 1-2 good songs, and then 1-2 we never heard before.
At least the beat was the same (no techno stuff).
I mentioned above that Hedo seemed like 2 different
places in December and in January. January,
for obvious reasons, has a different group of people there from the group we
met on our first trip. We met
great people on both trips. With
the www group we met probably 100 people on line before we went.
We developed online friendships that became real once we got to Hedo.
We experienced the magic of Hedo, making friends who 13 months
later we still chat with all the time and get together with a couple times a
year. We bonded with couples in a
way we never thought was possible. We
found new family. This trip
we knew 2 couples going from home, we met maybe 2-3 couples online before
leaving and a few others once we got there.
January is definitely a much sexier month.
There was sex going on everywhere, almost all the time.
The sexual energy was just amazing and addicting!
However, friendships and bonds were of a different type.
Our first trip to Hedo changed our lives, no doubt about
it. I really didnt think this
trip had an impact on me until a friend (thanks Rick) asked me what was the
one thing I did that I was glad I did and
I really thought about it. I
realized that I had a few experiences that really did change me (Trying to get
the single guys from Sandals to take their shorts off and SHG - thanks Natalie
for being my partner in crime TWICE!).
And of course thanks to my wonderful husband Keith for allowing me the
freedom I needed (and for those day/night passes J).
All in all it was another great week at Hedo.
How could it not be when the worst part of the week was walking the long
walk back to our room on the prude side?
After all, it was 85 degrees and sunny out and we had to walk nekkid
all the way down a beautiful beach to get back to the room.
Life really stinks! LOL
We are already planning our 3rd trip home
for next December with the winter www group again.
Thanks to Denny (what did people do before the internet?)
I have this site to go to every day until then.
Hopefully this will get me thru the DIF days!
