Where to begin?
Flights?A nightmare if you live in Spokane Washington, red eye flights, takes about 16 hours travel time,10 hours in the air, four plane changes and there you are in Montego Bay ready for the fun drive to Negril.Does this tell you how badly we wanted to come to Jamaica? The miracle of this trip was that every flight was on time,no nasty flight attendents, and out of eight flights we even got one sandwich, and 7 bags of nuts.Living the high life!
We spent our first seven nights at the Negril cabins, laid back very romantic, with a beautiful beach(bloody bay) pretty much to our selves. As a travel agent I was compelled to do several sight inspections at small intimate hotels I had not seen before.Did some of the Negril nightlife scene enjoyed Alfreds alot.Went out to Little Bay in the middle of nowhere to check out some land a friend of mine from Chicago owns and met some of his friends, very interesting day with the locals.
Finally, our way too short trip to hedo II.The reason I only planned three nights was because I was the one who was pretty apprehensive, not the hubby.Big mistake, should have done more time at hedo cause we loved it.This message board really helped me to get comfortable with this very new style of vacationing for me.I was pretty proud of myself when we arrived, thought it would take a day to get to the nude beach, and it only took me three strong drinks and then within twenty minutes we were in the nude pool.Low and behold the first people we met were people I chatted with on the board, the hedo welcome wagon,Liz,Chuck,Pat,Rupe.Although it took me about a day to be totally comfortable being nude I immediately realized this was just a bunch of really nice people who are very much open minded and comfortable with themselves and their bodies. As Martha would say "A Very Good Thing".
Only had one experience in the pool that was not pleasant, just walked away two times and he got the message.Every one else respected us and did not touch without asking. The experience at the hot tub with the Vinnies on our last night was a drag, because I was really opening up to being truly hedonistic and they blew that experience for us.No one has really answered my question about handeling that situation when I posted it.Is it best to just leave like we did,or do you say something to the creeps?
Must admit the only other negative comment would be "THE WALK".Dang the bathroom is far from the bar at the nude pool.Didn't mind passing thru the whole area to do my thing. But the more I drank the more I was worried  I would slip and fall.Would like to suggest to the resort that they put in more convienient washrooms.Every person I talked to felt the same way.Must also admit I was looking forward to some of the silly stuff like nude twister, boobs and butt contest, wet t shirt etc. There were none of the above while we were there, and none of the activity personel from the resort came to the nude pool to get us going.Love to play silly games! We did participate in toga night and caught the last part of the beach party which seemed to end early. The only thing I can figure is that it is slow season and the place just isn't jumping like it normally would be.
As I had heard the rooms are very so so,food was good, people were fantastic!Made new friends, and momments  we will smile about as long as we live.Next visit WILL be longer.Already have a couple more trips planned for the near future.
J&J will return, peace and love to all our new friends.
