Our Big Trip to the Legendary Hedonism II

As some of you know, our trip started early on the morning of 04-06-02 (we stayed for 7 nights). We flew Air Jamaica into Montego Bay and landed right on schedule at 11:20 AM. After reading many trip reports on www.dennyp.com  web-site, we decided it best to avoid the 2 hour bus trip and paid extra to fly in a Cessna into Negril. Yes, the plane was very small, but the flight was fourteen minutes. In addition, we had planned on flying with TimAir, but they were under cut by AirLink by more than half the airfare. Although she didn't care much for the ride, even Diana said that the pros far outweighed the cons of flying in a small plane.

I guess I should start by thanking DennyP and TNTAHII (the book), as it made Diana and I prepare as no other first-timers probably ever had. We had lots of 30 SPF sunscreen, award winning togas, awesome lingerie, plenty of slut wear, only two pairs of underwear, and 1.5 liter mugs for getting drinks from Delroy's bar.

Our arrival really was uneventful, as our room was ready within minutes of giving the staff our paperwork. Moreover, we were given an upgrade to Nude beachview on the 2nd floor. So far, the service was off to a great start!

Well, no doubt for many first timers the biggest challenge is getting NAKED. We went to our room and put on our swim attire (silly first timers). We went down stairs and approached the nude area from the behind the nude Jacuzzi and immediately felt the eyes of all the nude people watching us. We went straight to DelRoy's and secured drinks. While we were waiting we looked at each other and said that there was no time like the present to get naked. We did, never thought about it again, and never looked back! There is a certain almost unexplainable feeling from being completely naked in front of hundreds of people. Witnin minutes we heard our names being called from the pool area. Within 15 minutes we had met 4 other couples and the conversation just flowed endlessly.

As first-timers with very large mugs, Diana and I made the mistake of indulging in too many refills from DelRoy's. Diana was hooked on the dirty banana and I started with the rum-runners. The burgers and fries at Robert's Grill were as good as they had been billed, (probably had lunch there no less than 5 days). The food in the main dining room was terrific also. I don't know why anyone would complain about the food, yes it could be better, but I never left feeling hungry. If you want gourmet food, book the Grand Lido. We were there to be naked, make friends, and for the socializing.

By the second day we met Tim & Amanda, Jess and Stacy, Daryl & Cathy, and Ron & Judy. Ron and Judy were getting married on Wednesday and we were all invited. How many people invite you to their wedding when you are all naked. The you go days later, and feel like someone in your family is getting hitched.

Most of our days were consumed with waking about 8 or so, meeting for breakfast, occasionally working out, getting a great chair on the beach, eating lunch, lying on the beach, and napping for whatever the night might hold.

We ate at all of the restaurants and overall the food was very good. The service at the Japanese place was very disappointing when it cam to accommodating the wedding party of 10. That was the only real disappointment, as far as the service from the staff. Although we took that path that a little tip in a friendly handshake went a long way, and it clearly did.

As for PDA's, yes we did see them on occasion (some day and some night), but for the most part we expected it. My personal opinion is that in an environment that has that much sexual energy, it's probably not that difficult to get caught up in the moment. I am also of the opinion that for those relationships that are ready for it, then it takes it to the next level from a spiritual standpoint. I can't really think of anywhere that I would be pleased to hear that my wife was complimented in the buffet line on her "nice slut wear". Somehow, I would have been disappointed if she wasn't complimented. It has to be a great boost to your ego to know that you are being admired that muchFor the guys and girls alike

As for the activities, we had a blast. We did the wet t-shirt contest, the bodies in motion (for the guys, I had to reciprocate her award winning performance), battle of sexes, etcWhich of course helped our cause with respect to earning hedo-bucks and redeeming them for booze. Chubby, Buffy, and Lucky were great. PJ and Toga night was everything we expected and we each won something on both nights. The talent night was awesome, and allowed fellow hedo-nites to showcase their talents, that was great evening of entertainment.

No doubt that we will return and hopefully with the same people we met as first-timers. The resort was at about 50% capacity. Not knowing a difference, it seemed like there was more room to have fun and the people were clearly in the mood, for all we knew.

The vinnies and wally's, were basically treated as outcasts. Unless you are well known and accepted (DennyP & Hedo-Dave are two examples I can think of), you probably should not even waste your money or your time.

All the remodeling seemed very nice, the gym was great, the slide is very fast and cold when going naked, the SCUBA diving was great, the nude cruise was fun too, and horse back riding was time well spent.

The rooms were dated, but most of the time spent in our room was with our eyes closed. Subsequently, who caresThe A/C was adequate, the sheets were clean, and we had to adjust the water temperature in the shower.

It was truly the vacation of a lifetime, and we look forward to going again next yearYes we miss it and those that are clearly a part of our Hedo family.

Take care,

Eric & Diana
