Dave & Anne

April 20th April 27th 2002

Finally recovering after three weeks back in the states...Dave & Anne Marie first timers (Virgins as they called us) to hedo II, we both had no idea of that to expect.  Daves friend has gone there for years and gave us some background but words alone cannot prepare you for Hedo. This was our best vacation yet!  It had everything you could possible want on your vacation.  We had a great time and cant wait to go back!  We hope our report is helpful to the new Virgins who are considering going.

Our room was on the prude side ocean view, at the farthest end, originally we didnt like it but after a few nights found it to be very quiet, the majority of the time was spent out of the room so we enjoyed the quiet nights. The walk to the nude side was fine.

Tips & Tricks:

1.  Taking advise from trip reports on dennyp and Hedo 1030 (thanks mike), we skipped the bus ride and

took the puddle jumper.. the bus ride takes about 2 hours, the plane takes about 20 minutes, we waited about 45 minutes for the connecting flight, we arrived at hedo about 20 minutes before the bus, $55.00 each way, but worth it in our opinion.  People we met said that next time they would take the plane

2.   After checking in, if your room is not ready be prepared to either go to the bar or to the beach.  Dont do what we did and wait for your room.  We waited several hours thinking that it would be ready in no time.  Well there is no time in Hedo so dont wait, just relax and get a drink and go down to the beach and float on a raft naked in the water.  It really is a much better way to start the vacation

3.  Some people bring their own rafts and leave them when they go home, if you have room in your luggage, take one.

4.  You should have room in your luggage for a raft because you don't need clothing during the morning or day.  You really only need cloths for dinner, but how long does dinner last??

5.   If you plan on spending time on the nude side in the ocean you should bring with you water shoes to save your feet from getting cut up.

6.  Bring with you a big plastic cooler cup.  Bring a couple of them. You need one for water and one for what you are going to be drinking. Ex. Frozen Mudslides.  They will make you a blender full and fill up your mug if its big enough.  You dont want to waste any of the alcohol.

Lets talk about food

You dont go to HEDO to eat!  You go there to drink and be naked.   Our recommendations are Pasta Farie was fine late at night after 10:00pm when the dinning room was closed.  No reservation was needed after 10pm.  The main dinning room was good for breakfast and lunch and dinner.  We always ate a late breakfast there.  They made great omelets and desserts.  Also the bar was always empty in the morning so there was no line to get drinks.  One night we did make reservations at the Japanese restaurant.  The food was very good!  But you must make your reservation that morning.  The problem with this is someone has to get up at 7:30am and stand in line till the reservation desk opened to make the reservation. (THANKS MARY & BOB!)  The problem with having reservations made at 7:30 pm is that by 7:30pm if you are still in the hot tub drinking the last thing you want to do is go back to the room and make a toga.  We needless to say made our toga out of our towels and never made it back to the room before dinner.  We still have not gotten the pictures back yet of that dinner but I can hardly wait to see themJ  Both of the beaches has a bar that will serve lunch burgers and chicken for dinner.  They are always great for snacks.  The prude side never has a line for the bar or the grill.  The drinks taste the best from the prudes sides lower bar on the beach.

Exscursions:

We went out on the naked cruise during the day.  It consisted of snorkling and cliff jumping. It was great fun!  There is nothing better then seeing 100 naked asses out in the middle of the ocean boping up and down looking for coral and fish.  I didnt see a lot of fishes but I did see a lot of one eyed snakes!   The cliff jumping was exciting to see what parts of peoples bodies they treasured the most.  Those would be what they would be holding on to when they jumped off the cliff and hit the water.  (Rob its been three weeks, did the water come out of your ass yet!)

We also rented a taxi for a few hours and drove into Negril.  This is only recommended for those who have money to give away.  Or you want to buy suverners like a herd of wooden elehphants. If you do decide to go remember there is strenght in numbers.

Alterations:

This was our first trip so we dont know how it was prior to the alterations.  We like all the alterations although everyone who had been there befor said they were all done on the prude side.  And they are right they are all done on the prude side.  The water slide was great fun!  The majority of people were nude going down it.  Because the slide has been put on the prude side most of the prudes get a kick out of watching and taking pictures of us crazy nudes going down the slide.  It is really funny because the slide is really nothing except naked fun,  If they really want to see something they should venture over to the hot tub on the nude side.

The new prude beach bar and pool area is very nice.  Its a shame its suppose to be for prudes only because they never used it when we where there.  We did hang out there nude with a group of friend we had made on the crueise.  We played edible finger paints and nude trwister.  People had said we were fortunate no one complanined of us being nude

We did have a slight problem with our room air conditioner not working.  The manager was more then accomodating comping us several nights stay to come back to make up for our inconvience.

People:

In the end what really made this the best vaction for us was the people.  We want to thank the butt crackers gang who took us under their wing and made us feel welcome.  As you read though everyones visit reports you will hear over and over again the people really make Hedo the type of place it is.  Well they are right.  Our vacation was so good because of the fun loving people we met every day at Hedo (Mike&Mary, Bob&Marsh,Funeral Mike).  There was not one rude or mean guest at Hedo.  Everyone was there to have a good time and relax!  We cant wait to go back.  We made great new friends who we are hoping are going to be able to go back with us next year (Bondage Bonnie & Twister Rob).

That all we can think to tell you except you really need to go to experience Hedo.  There really is no other place like it.

Take care,
