12-29 to 01-05
My third trip since May (I may have a problem) and I loved it. Had my free days
that had to be used in 01 so thanks to Buddy at Go Classy I was able to use them
over the holiday.
Arrived the recommended 3 hours early at the airport but of course Air J workers
don't start till 2 hours before flight time. Humm why am there early again?
No real problems with security so off to the gate to wait for boarding. Nice
flight down and I even got thru customs fast. Walk thru the gate and there is
Tim air waiting for me.
Friends I met on the plane had booked AJ's flight over and were already at the
terminal when I got there. Only problem was they stick to a schedule while TA
takes off as soon as they fill the plane. Beat them to Hedo by almost an hour.
Checkin a breeze, its only 1pm so room not ready, no problem. Grabed my giant
Slim Jim mug from my bag and headed for Roberts, By 1:30 I'm sitting by the pool
with a plate of fries and a jerk burger and a mug of hummingbirds. Ahhhhh life
is good!
Resort was still a long way from full and entertainment staff seemed to be
keeping a low profile on the nude beach, no body painting,twister,vollyball
ect.Truth be told this did give me a chance to try being a sand slug for a
change. Hummm this could be habit forming. Just laying in a chair all day except
for my daily snorkel trip and trips to the bar. Of course with a 64oz mug you
can GREATLY the time wasted walking all the way to the bar. Why I was only
drinking 4-5 drinks a day (I think) Repeaters party was good for the spread they
put out. I don't know what was on those shrimp but I could make a meal of them.
New Year's Eve was a blast but I was a little disappointed on the lack of slut
wear. Being a shy person myself I only wore my formal thong with gloves, bow tie
and cane with top hat. Gee the hat was hot. LOL After the long
awaited balloon drop we decided to play a little balloon volleyball in the prude
pool. I love water slides but hate bad construction so I'll wait till they add a
real support pillar in stead of a couple 2X4s or a spot welded beam.
PJ night was fun but way too close to New Years, Oh well I can sleep during the
day on the beach. Found a nice elephant suit that had strange (but wonderful)
women grabbing my trunk all night. I AM NOT A MAN; I AM AN ANIMAL!
Thursday night we had a nice cool breeze come in so I turned the air off and
opened the window to sleep to the sound of frogs and the wind in the
trees,ummmmm
Next morning I woke to the gentle sound of the breeze in the trees, the purr of
the LAWN MOWER starting under my window, the soft THUNK,THUNK,THUNK of the guy
chopping the branches that fell during the night and in the distance the gentle
POUNDING of the jack hammer. I asked about free days for construction and was
told that there was no construction going on. Sure enough the jack hammer was
just tearing down the old treehouse bar and that's demolition not construction.
Tried a massage on the beach which was so good I had another one the day I left.
Of course just plug in the normal PDAs through out the week. And when you see
Agustus ask to see his article on being Employee of the year. He is very proud
of it. And I am impressed by Roberts memory, On my last day I talked someone
into ordering a jerked burger and Robert commented that it was the first thing I
got when I arrived even before I had a room which was true but I didn't expect
him to remember that.
Oh well only 4 months till I go back.
