Bucky says: After being pretty concerned about being naked on a beach in
front of strangers, getting an erection, looking like a slob in front of
muscle builders ... I found that most of my 'fears' were unfounded. The
getting naked part just happened, and quite easily too, after seeing
many people of many shapes and sizes (right from those muscle builders
and all the way too ... well, different strokes and we know easily
recognize how we've al been made a little different (may be some more
different than others!).
The events can be divided cleanly into "participanting" (in which you
get Hedo Bucks to convert to bottles of booze at the end of your stay)
and can be anything from winning various contests to playing beach
volleyball (nude or prude) and watching, ie, the night shows put on at
Hedo are truly amazing and at some point there is usually audience
participation (more Hedo Bucks!).
The food is great and staff is greater (both in service and looks!). As
Arnold Schwartznegger says, I(WE)'LL BE BACK!
Ivana can only add: As with Bucky, I felt the first time declothing was
a trial, however, wearing my sunglasses, for whatever reason, made me
more comfortable. I also was concerned about any unwanted/unsolicited
overtures being made by people, but thankfully, that was unwarranted. If
you wanted to join in the fun (and Bucky, being a way more outgoing
person, certainly did), then you were more than welcome to, but if you
wanted to stay on the sidelines or do something else ... hey ... no hard
feelings there either.
For first-timers, I have to put a special note in that picking a
knowledgeable travel agency is an absolute must! The owners of our
agency (K Walsh Travel in Toronto) have been down to Hedonism II several
times, and thoroughly enjoy it, going there during "Lifestyle" week(s)
in January. They answered all our questions often before we asked, and
did so outside the agency's walls, at a coffee shop ... thoroughly no
pressure. We are extremely thankful to them for all the information they
provided beforehand.
