Bill & Susan - September, 2002

Hedo 2 Trip report:
We arrived Friday, Sept. 20. Took the bus, approximately 1.5 hours
(including the stop at the Golden Apple). Upon arrival at Hedo we were
checked in and in our room within 30 minutes.
Ready to party!!! Friends had arrived earlier in the week, and reported
that the rain from Isadore had been persistent all week long. It was just
drizzling on Friday. According to our friends, Hedo 2 refused to honor the
"guaranteed sunshine" deal, as they already had already been recipients of
a "free days next September" deal.
WHERE ARE THE ECs? All week long a majority of the scheduled activities
(nude beach) just didn't happen. Even worse, sometimes the ECs would show
up at the scheduled times and just chat among themselves and guests. For
the 9 days we were there at least 50% of the scheduled activities were
non-existent.
Hats off to the water sports crew! They were fantastic! Diving was great,
the Hobie Cat in 25 knot winds was fantastic, and when we totally flopped
on the SunFish they brought us back home. Praises to the Water Sports Crew!!!
Dining: I have never been served such awful food! The cheeseburgers at
Robert's grill were great, but for $300 per day we should get something
better than curried goat! Honestly, after two nights of trying to eat Hedo
meals we chose to eat out. The food really is that bad!!!
The People: ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC! It's true! It's the people that make
Hedo what it is. Regardless of everything else, Hedo people know how to
party!
