Well here it is... our small
contribution to a never ending party....
We had first heard about Hedo2 in
February of 2000, and me
being the male, had suggested the
trip to the wife. Being sure that
she would say NO, I was able to
strut around the house thinking
I was Joe cool, not afraid or
nervous of anything, and she would
play the part of "Jane the
scared house wife". well a couple of weeks
had passed, and I had not heard a
"yes" or "no" from her mouth, being
very confidant I approached her
again. She said "book the trip".
With those three words my heart
stopped...I couldn't breath right,
and I began to sweat. I had not
prepared myself for that answer.
I was afraid to fly, I was
fearfully shy of strangers, and I could
never just hang out and be naked
with a bunch of strangers!
I played it tough, and didn't
show my weakness. I Went to the doc
right away and had some valium
prescribed for the flight, thinking
that if I had too I could
medicate enough to get on the nude beach.
We didn't find Denny's web site
until May of 2001. It was like a
gift from God! All of the
questions we had, all of the fears I fed,
and finally real people that were
going at the same time we were!
We wrote several couple from
the visitors schedule, who we met
upon arrival. Our flight was
uneventful for being my very first flight
(thank you Mr. valium!) arriving
in Mobay 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
We took TimAir to Negril (highly
recommend!), then a cab to Hedonism2.
We sat at a desk in the lobby for
about 25 minutes to fill out all of the
paper work, then off to our room.
Very nice, but it was the beach that we
wanted. At the beach we met our
first vacationing partner... I can't remember
his name, but he had a blue boat
with "water taxi" painted on the side.
I wonder how come they charge so
much for a ride 100 yards out then back!
Very nice man though! After our
taxi ride it was a stroll around the grounds
to check everything out. We found
ourselves walking up the beach towards
the nude side, then it just
happened...off came the clothes. We stripped
under the trees by the first
float and got in the water. Wow what a relief
to know that that could only get
easier! We soon found ourselves up at the
bar and the grill with "NO
problem mon!", After a while it was hard to tell
if you were wearing any clothes
at all, We sometimes had to look down to tell
for sure! We enjoyed the beach
much more that the pool area, except for the
night time hours. We hit the nude
hot tub just about every night. My wife is
a "half full" type, and
I am a "half empty" type, and neither one of us had experienced
any negativity. The food, rooms,
staff, entertainment, activities, amenities, etc., etc.,
etc. were all good mon! So good
in fact...that we planned, and booked a return trip
even before our bags were
unpacked. We will be back for my birthday, November
3rd, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! We
thank the Hedo people here on these boards
for all of the informative help
and training. We are now true hedonist's...And you are
all to blame! Especially you
Denny...Thank you! We mean it. We hope to meet more of
you as the years go by, because
we are hooked for life!
