Ed & Jackie - November, 2001

Ed & Jackie, 11/9-11/18/01

This was our second trip to Hedo and we couldn't wait to get back. This time we went a week early to celebrate Ed's birthday and our 18th anniversary. We left home at 4 AM for the hour drive to the Philadelphia airport, our flight was leaving at 7.30am. We were surprised that not once were our bags searched or ourselves. There was a high military presents at the airport and it only took us 15 minutes to check in.WOW. The flight was slightly delayed in leaving and it was half empty. We arrived in Mobay at 11am and by 11.30am we were on our way to Tim Air. This was quite scary for me as I hate flying and have never been in anything so small. Curtis our pilot was very nice and once we got in the air it was great, he started pointing out interesting things, (I think to take my mind off of the ride) and when I told him I was okay he asked if we wanted to fly low over Hedo, of course we said yes! Man what a rush....he dove the plane and took us very low over the nude beach and then swung around to land at Negril's airport. Within 10 mins we were checking in at the front desk. We were checked in very fast and even got upgraded to a Prude beach room. As we were shown to our room we noticed that it was very quite and the dinning room was almost empty. We got room #1112 and it was close to the construction, but it was not very noisy so we took it. We dropped off our luggage and went up to the restaurant to eat. After that we took off to the nude side and Ed almost fell over trying to get out of his shorts. I on the other hand was very nervous about taking it all off, so I left my thong on that day...now the rest of the trip was another story. We started off by lying out on the beach but soon realized it was to hot so we went up to the pool. We soon started to see some familiar faces and went over to meet the people who had e-mailed us from Denny's visitor's site. The crowd in the pool were all very nice and we met a lot of new people. We stayed in the pool until 4 PM and then went to our room for a "nap"; it had been a long day. Later we got dressed and went to dinner; food wasn't too bad (but after having roast beef almost every night it soon got old.) The servers were very slow and one night we had to wait an hour to get silverware. Saturday morning we were awaken at 7 AM to the sounds of jackhammers...Oh great, no sleeping in. We complained to the manager and he promised us two free nights. We soon learned that by leaving the radio on at night that it drowned out the noise. The day flew by in a haze and we crashed at 11pm. It's hard to remember every day as they seem to mesh together and it was great. On Tuesday we went on the clothing optional cruise and met two other couples and had a great time, even though we were a little sea sick because of the rough water. Ed jumped off of the cliffs twice and then decided he should dive. He did a great job but came on to the boat holding his neck saying "I'm too old for this s*#t". That night we joined the other two couples, P & M and C & M for the P.J. Party. It was weird not having it in the disco but we had fun. Later we went to the hot tub and it was packed, a lot of PDA and vinnies. The rest of the week went by with days on the beach or in the pool (nude side of course) and nights spent part in the "disco" and hot tub. Had some fantasies fulfilled that we thought we were too old to have happen, only at Hedo! Just wanted to say Hi to everyone we met during our stay, you guys are the greatest! Jamaica Jim, Sherry & Hubby, Amber & Mike, Becky & Tom, Tommy, Jean & Mike, Kelly & Buddy, Bonnie & Dan and Stephan & Jessica. If you are not listed I apologize, to much booze. If you have never been to Hedo, GO. You don't have to worry about how you look and you get to meet some wonderful people. Will be going back next November, for sure. Our only complaints, other than the construction, are: 1) Not enough towels. 2) Had to endure three "Art Auctions" 3) Better variety of food in the dinning room.
